"There is a precision and clarity to that letter that makes it delightful to read. A similar cleansing wind needs to blow through the IRS DC swamp, and soon. Let the guilty tremble." Let the liberals tremble from DC throughout their fruity plains.

Now Rosenstein needs to write a similar letter recommending the firing of McCabe.

Quoting Eric Holder’s words in support of Comey’s termination is pure gold.

Many pieces of gold in that letter ...
But the FBI Director is never empowered to supplant federal prosecutors and assume command of the Justice department.

I agree with firing him sooner, but playing it out this way really covered all the bases.
Sure Schumer and Pelosi and Co. will scream, but they would anyway. It's all they have. But for the more rational, this is the most above board way of handling something that had to be done.

Spicer’s daily presser should be more lively than usual today.

Agreed.
But quoting Holder is particularly delicious. Obama’s hand-chosen AG, hired by the state of California while not licensed to practice law in the state, held in contempt of Congress, radical pinko anti-American, supporter of New Black Panther Party and sanctuary states—
Says Comey should go.

Schumer, Pelosi, and essentially the entire Hollywood Left. I'm not sure if I want to laugh or cry....

Maybe not interesting at all but many of us said just about these same things on October 28, that the BFI finds evidence, the AG decides to prefer charges but in this case the AG would not. The whole affair would have been swept under the rug. Even in saying there was nothing there Comey may have done us all a favor anyway. The way he said it the shadow of doubt and guilt was surely cast against Clintoon.

Screwy headline. Sounds like the guy who recommended the firing got fired himself.
“Rod Rosenstein’s Letter Recommending That Comey Be Fired” would make more sense.

Excellent. The public is so inured to corruption, that everyone has come to expect it and not be bothered by it.
Now, perhaps we can find an illegal action here and let Comey pay the price. We really do need to set an example and send the political elites a message.

EXACTLY !!! The FBI director reports to the Deputy AG, not the AG. It is from the recommendation of the Deputy AG, that the President makes his decision. As you said, thanks to Schumer, et al., he was only confirmed 2 weeks ago. ... and Trump patiently waited until the Deputy AG was in place before taking action. Well thought out and well executed.
To: SkyPilot
The FBI with this insane and corrupt bankster at its head has become a complete joke.
He politicize the organization to extent that it was not respected or effective.
Now it’s time to cut down the communists and the jihadists in the government along with all Democrat party arch criminals still inside.
