Just think, a Cankles administration would have been loaded with people like this. They would have been her chief enablers.

Jr came out with a series of interesting tweets recently that people have saved. He deleted his account again. Maybe yesterday. Don’t know the timing.

He is a loose cannon. He was defending his dad. Whether true or not...what he said seems plausible.

it's the 33 years he was an Army officer.

Following in the footsteps of Gen. Wesley Clark.

>>How did a person of such easy virtue gain such rank and become the nation’s top military intelligence officer?

Observe the culture of rape covered up by the “leadership” at the AFA...

“To do what is right for some else, even though you know it may not go well for you, that is the character trait we are missing in the Air Force today. I believe integrity has gone to the waste side at USAFA “

Having spent his career in intelligence, you’d think he’d know to be more careful.

Bullcrap. Flynn was out because he had tree wrong opinions about Islam and the new cold war.

All of that other garbage was the neocon explanation. I believe all that like I believe the Warren Commission.

Simply ask yourself, how do you know any of this is true? Don’t forget, he was fired by Obama because he wasn’t a Islam lover. He was against the war in Syria and b the new cold war with Russia. Everything else is BS.

Thoughtful article. When it comes to character, there is no such thing as a ‘little’ lie.

We still dont even know what financial disclosure questions were on the forms completed by General Flynn

Accepting money for speeches from a foreign news network (RT) or foreign lobby group or think tank may be construed by liberals as “ taking money from a foreign government” - there is a legal distinction

One might also ask how many retired military and govt officials are working for multinational or foreign sources as consultants lobbyists or whatever
If a Lockheed consultant is being paid by Lockheed on a contract funded by Saudi Arabia - who is he accepting money from? This is rampant and common and long accepted practice in Flynn's world

The bigger issue is how many serving voting politicians are taking foreign
money or gray money raised offshore like Soros - who makes major donations to the The McCain Foundation which also gets Saudi money

How does a guy spend his entire adult life a commissioned soldier and still compromise himself and his position so completely and cavalierly? When a tree bears bitter fruit, you wonder about the tree. Michael Flynn clearly used his position to enrich himself, and he actively violated policy to do so. He failed to get permission to receive money from a foreign and hostile power, and then engaged in deception to conceal his conduct.

Lots of assumptions but little evidence. We have yet to hear Flynn's side of the story. I will withhold judgment until then,

The firing of Flynn has put the blood in the water fueling the frenzied attacks by the MSM and the Dems. It has helped them perpetuate the phony narrative of collusion with the Russians by the Trump campaign and empowered them to believe they can take down other Trump appointees. They tried it with Bannon and Sessions to no avail.

If Trump had to do it all over again, I wonder if firing Flynn was the wisest thing to do. The IC did not like Flynn because they deemed him to be a hothead and loose cannon. Obama didn't like him because of his outspoken disagreement with the policies on fighting radical Islamic terrorism and the reaching an agreement with Iran, which the Russians and Chinese were signatories. If Flynn was in the pocket of the Russians, why would he publicly be against the Iran agreement?

The control of the NSC is now back in the hands of the Establishment. Is that a good thing?

Gee, another Utah Republican Mormon (ex in this guy’s case) ripping the Trump Administration. Shocking.

More importantly, it has been reported that Flynn was paid by RT, not by the Russian government. How is this different than being paid by the BBC, which is funded by the British government? Oh, because the BBC does not spew propaganda? Yeah right. Anyway, if we are going to start saying that accepting funding from commercial entities funded by foreign governments is to be treated the same as being on the foreign government’s payroll, that will be a very significant change in existing law / regulation, and should be adopted through proper means rather than by vilifying this man after the fact.

Also, a fair-minded observer looking at the Obama Administration’s ties to the major news networks might contend that they are / were controlled by the US Government. CBS News President David Rhoade’s brother Ben was a top advisor to Obama. ABC News President Ben Sherwood’s wife was a special advisor to the president. There was ABC’s Claire Shipman married to Jay Carney. There was CNN’s Virginia Moseley married to the Deputy Secretary of State, Tom Nides. And of course there was NBC’s Andrea Mitchell married to the head of the Fed. What would people say if these same kinds of connections with so pervasive between RT and the Russian Government. Maybe they are, IDK. But the point is the absolute, ridiculous hypocrisy and absence of context. Adding to that, as another poster pointed out, is the vast number of ex-military and ex-goverment types working for the Saudis, including for ARAMCO, which is owned by the Kingdom. This type of work has never been treated as work for the Saudi government, as far as I know.

Oh by the way, Flynn had extensive back and forth with the DIA about his RT work and the issue is that he should have also / alternatively cleared it with the Dept. of the Army. Whatever. To me, this is a politically-motivated hatchet job.

I am not saying he was the best pick for National Security Advisor. But that is a separate issue from all the personal attacks on the man.

"Clearly" ... Bill and Hillary ... until these two are swinging from ropes, no time should be wasted investigating anyone else.

So, yet another fact-free smear against Flynn. I still haven’t seen what exactly he is supposed to have done wrong. I have to conclude the answer is, nothing.

It isn’t that he is owned by the Russians, I suspect, but that he *isn’t* owned by the Saudis. Or George Soros.

I’d like to see an accounting of who takes money from who, but lets include the Saudis, and the Chinese, and Ukraine, and Soros. Lets get it all out on the table.

First off, military Officers are drawn from our civilian population. Most Officers only become part of the military culture when they are 18. Their character is pretty well formed by then.

And what message did “We The People” send to the military when we elected Bill Clinton as Commander-In-Chief twice and Barack Obama as Commander-In-Chief twice?
