Why does everyone assume Trump taped Comey during the dinner conversation? Maybe Comey was the one who had “tapes”, or other sources of information in his office. Maybe that’s why Trump fired him while he was out of the office - so he could preserve the evidence that would implicate Comey & exonerate Trump.
Trump just tweeted conversations. He didn’t tweet anything about dinner conversation. Trump also said Comey told him once at dinner ant two other times.

Wow, thanks for the link. I hadn’t read that, but I was thinking about the tweet while driving home tonight. When Trump fired Comey while he was in LA, I thought it must have been done to preserve data in Comey’s office. Then I was thinking about the tweet & the “tapes” and put it together - Comey must have been the one with the tapes.
Once again, Trump sets a trap for the media. They go hysterical over Trump firing Comey & secretly taping Comey at dinner. Once the media dopes have enough rope, Trump will pull the noose tight around their necks by providing the truth.
