Father God,
Lord, as we witness once again the beauty of springtime, we remember the newness of life that You bring to all who seek You. May we sing of Your mercies forever and make known Your faithfulness to all generations. May the heavens praise Your wonders, Lord, for You are the glory of our strength. You are our defense, and the Holy One of Israel is our King forever.
We are grateful for our country, Lord, and for the new legislation that was begun in Congress this past week. We ask You to guide and direct those who have been elected to make the laws for this nation, as well as our President Trump and Vice-President Pence. Give them the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and of might, the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord. Thank You, Father, for the opportunities they have to do what is right for America.
Father, on this beautiful Lord’s Day, we pray that You will lead all of our military men and women who have been blinded by the devil’s works and guide them onto paths that they have not known. Make darkness light before them and crooked things straight. Father, we know You will not forsake them. Their need for You is great whether they recognize it or not. For those who do know You, Lord, please place fellow believers in their paths who will help them and encourage them. Thank You for the many ways that Your people can serve You, Lord.
With our mouths and our hearts, we bless Your people Israel, Lord, and pray for the preservation of their land. Thank You for being the God Who keeps His promises to His people. May Your Name be glorified both now and evermore.
Father, may Your beauty be upon us, and may You establish the work of our hands as we go about this new week. We are grateful that Your mercies are new every morning, for great is Your faithfulness. We thank You and praise You in the Name of our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.

LORD, only You can cleanse and heal a nation that has turned from You. Pour Your SPIRIT out upon us. Revive the hearts and spirits of fathers and mothers, and sons and daughters whose love for You have grown cold. Reveal Yourself to those who do not know JESUS CHRIST as LORD and SAVIOR. For so goes the home, so goes the nation.

We think of our President and staff over this weekend and pray you give their hearts and minds rest so that they come back to their work refreshed and with the knowledge that you remain at their side.
We also pray for ourselves.. that when things appear to be going the wrong direction, with the limited view we have, that we remember to “be still and know that you are God”....and that you know exactly what you are doing through these good men who have offered themselves to serve this country.
We thank you and rejoice for raising them up and giving this country the badly needed help it needs... which also indicates to us all you heard our cries to intercede in the downhill trajectory we we all on.
We commit to you all those working over this next week, to cooperate and find your will and purposes for this country as you desire Lord. Give them seeking hearts and minds to see the way you would have them to go.....and open the way as they do....for all things come together in your good time and will.
