The company has quietly put out feelers for a possible new head of Fox News with the preference, say sources, that it be a woman.
The Murdochs may be preparing for a leadership change at Fox News. Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Rupert Murdoch and his sons James and Lachlan, CEO and co-chairman of Fox News parent 21st Century Fox, have quietly put out feelers for a new head of Fox News. And the preference, according to two sources familiar with the Murdochs thinking, is that the new leader be female.

Fox is going the opposite direction. I wonder what sort of scandals will be ginned up for the conservative ladies?
What does it matter to us if she is or is not qualified to run the new CNN clone?
Hannity should sever ties before he is the victim of a huge and phoney sex harassment scandal. That is the approved method for removing Conservatives in that it taints them and they lose stature. Murdoch fils don’t want the stars they are firing to outshine them on some new cable show.
Getting rid of O’Really actually made Fox more Conservative. Tucker is way more than Bill and a couple on the Five which is unwatchable and then Hannity.
If they go away, vacuums are meant to be filled.

Re your pretty in pink photo:
Imagine if she wasn’t wearing a bra... or was... who can tell? /S
posts like this make me wish that FR had a facebook-esque “like” button.
all other times, I think it’s unbelievably gay.
20 years ago I became a “I threw away my remote” FoxNews viewer. Now I am wondering if it’s time to cut the cord.
I think the lesson of the megyn defection and BOR not being able to keep it in the pants is that we discovered that fox news has a deep bench and a strong farm system.
honestly, if BOR told me he was looking at for me as he pointed his pen at me one more time, I think I’d have committed a felony.
I don’t need billy-boy looking out for me any more than the central government.
Those increasing the repetition of the meme - Shine should go - whether or not they claim to only be reporting what has been said or noted elsewhere - are part of the Liberals’ media push-pull rumor mongering that tries to manufacture something - removing Shine - when, without there repetitive rumor mongering on the same rumor, no pressure for it exists.

You must have really hated it. Fox news is only 21 years old.
And I don’t understand the weird pride that people seem to have in “cutting the cord”. You read it here all the time. Why are people’s utility bills supposed to be interesting to me?
I agree. In all but a few cases, a change to a woman signifies a lurch to the left (as if they weren’t already lurching that way). It’s not as if they’re going to hire a Phyllis Schlafly or a Margaret Thatcher type.
Yes, the worst insult isn’t that she’s such a hardcore leftist, it’s that she’s so utterly juvenile.
Lindsey Graham is a female and not very busy right now?
What about her?
But muh vaginer...
Is Fiorina committed to a Senate race? She would be a good fit.
Murdoch funded Fox News but Ailes made it what it was. Today FN is a joke. The Five is dreck; Bret Baer is tiresome as is Krauthammer, as is the format with one conservative and two opponents. The women are tiresome, and though big tits may sell, but, invariably, after a time their possessors display a voice that can cut glass. The weekend is boring. Carlson is good in a kind of Paul Harvey way, but he is no newsman. Smith has the kind of face that one punched in carnival amusements. In sum, FN is not a serious operation. (Ironically, Fox Business News is.)
Anyone have the URL for the posting Boot camp?
——they should go with Laura Ingraham, Michelle Malkin or Ann Coulter.——
These wonderful women are “talent” the Peter principal would quickly present itself...if picked for the top management position...
