Newly released police documents claim that Dr. David Dao, the passenger who was shown being dragged off a United Airlines flight on April 9 in widely shared videos, behaved violently toward the officers removing him, but his lawyer dismissed this account as “utter nonsense.”
The phone videos taken by other passengers set off waves of criticism and multiple statements from the airline, each more apologetic than the last.
The police reports were released Monday afternoon in response to a freedom of information request filed by The New York Times and other news organizations. The releases included audio of the original call to the Chicago Department of Aviation police, personnel reports about the officers and an incident report that appeared to blame Dr. Dao for his own injuries.

If they ever want to kick you off an airplane, you should take that as an omen. Carole Lombard refused to give up her seat for military personnel and look what happened to her.
Golden rule of survival.........never fight police instructions. Better place to fight police is in courts.
Dao was unconcious by the time they got him outside the cabin. The three thugs left him unattended in a bleeding heap on the floor while they went in search of a gurney. Their CYA story just doesn’t hold up under scrutiny.
Dr Dao - be sure you get a jury trial.
If it’s just a judge, the judge will say very matter of fact like - so whose word am I suppose to take, yours or the cops - as if cops never lie or make no better eye witnesses than anyone else.

I think you’d have left the plane. You may have thrown few F bombs on the way out but leave you would. I do not think there is one person in a thousand that would act like the disturbed Dr. Dao.
Of course they do. But it more stupid to get into physical altercations with police. Do you know of anyone who has won a fight with the police? Fight them in front of a judge. I have done that many times in Chicago traffic courts and prevailed. But on the street, I follow their instructions. Result is I was never physically harmed by police.

Btw, why did the CEO of United publicly state that Dao was completely innocent?
How come his wife acted like an adult and as did the other two passengers who left without a fuss?
Why is Dao the only one of the four who went ape-poop?
Dao should have been thrown in jail.
It is not hard to go limp and pretend unconsciousness. I am not saying that is what happened here but it does happen.
The police were not involved. United couldn’t call the police because Dao was non-threatening and not breaking any laws.
Police reports will always paint the arrestee in the worst way. Otherwise what justification do they have to arrest?
I am sure the UA lawyers are lamenting that knee jerk reaction.
Serves DrDao right, for disobeying police instructions. Who gave you the idea anyone can prevail in a physical altercation with the police? Dao is a arrogant and stupid man. He must think doctors are superior to police officers.

I just feel like we are all being conned. Just my opinion don’t go all Dao on me.
