Ivanka Trump said resettling Syrian refugees in the United States should be “part of the discussion.”
“I think there is a global humanitarian crisis that’s happening,” Ivanka — who serves as a special assistant to her father — said during an interview with the “Today” show. “And we have to come together and we have to solve it.”
When asked if that means letting Syrian refugees into the United States, Ivanka said, “That has to be part of the discussion, but that’s not going to be enough in and of itself.”
Donald Trump signed an executive order in March that would require the Department of Homeland Security to review its screening procedures while suspending the refugee admissions program for 120 days. The order temporarily bars the citizens of Sudan, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia and Yemen from entering the United States for 90 days, but it did not include the blanket ban on Syrian refugees like his first version of the order did.

I didn’t vote for Ivanka or her husband. They are way too liberal/progressive for me, and they are causing her dad to do about faces on a lot of his campaign promises. Move them out of the White House, and just have the grandkids in for occasional visits.

It's the same old tune....she's an elite and thinks we need to understand their pet projects to make the world a better place so they can get their awards and fuzzy strokes across their backs.
Let the ME countries take care of their own...they certainly have the money to do so and can accommodate them in a society they are familiar with rather than bringing the here to change our society and culture.....ME do not assimilate....nor can they.
Yeah. I wouldn’t blame Melania if she never moved into the White House. She absolutely cannot compete with Ivanka in DJT’s esteem. Gotta hurt.
Well Melania gets hammered every time anything is written about her.....so I surely don’t blame her for staying out of the public eye......I would never imagined the press could go after a first lady as they have her....it’s beyond disgusting that the media even puts the slander they do out there today. Worse than terrible press and journalists of the ages now!
Frankly I’m not really interested in what Ivanka says.....she’s lived in a protected bubble her entire life and can not possibly relate or have an understanding of the average citizen or their children. I have no issue where she puts her charitable monies or what she does in her circles she travels with..but don’t come to Washington and assume the right to speak out for women, on the coattail of your fathers Presidency no less, on matters you yourself have never faced as a women...and this of all things as a feminist activist.

Of course no border wall is going to get “done” in 100 days. But it should get started. Instead Trump has retreated from even getting it funded.
Until that changes the centerpiece of his campaign remains an empty promise.
