I used to be an attorney representing some of the big cable companies. The content providers (like ESPN) dictate the costs and terms of carriage. For example, ESPN used to require the cable companies to: (1) carry ESPN on the basic tier (so if you ordered cable, ESPN had to be included); (2) carry all other ESPN channels they currently offered or would ever create; and (3) required the channels to be next to each other in the cable lineup. This was 10-15 years ago, but the cable companies pretty much were at the mercy of ESPN and those creating the content.

Disney knows exactly what they are doing, that is why in their latest Disney movie “Beauty and the Beast” they are normalizing and making “sodomy” into “cute” and “good”. The Caitlyn Jenner thing is all CIA-Mossad Mind control of the ignorant masses who sit programed with distraction and disinformation 24/7 (as Bradbury stated). ESPN turned into the Roman “Bread and Circuses”——to program desires/ideas through their ads and “narrative”. There is no time for family or searching for Truth and Reality-—living one’s own life.

They control the minds and worldview/desires of little children and, since Disney died (and maybe before, since he was a Freemason), the idea to control words, images/language is known to create “worldview”. The importance of monopoly on all information, culture, etc., so that all ideas can be controlled is over 100 years old. It is only possible if you put TVs in homes esp. of young children and get children out of the Natural family unit before the age of 8 for 8 hours a day.

They need the Christian worldview (reason and logic) to be destroyed which is dependent on unstructured free association “play” for your children with real human interactions (not screens, etc), so they learn agency (to choose) and learn to control their own emotions-—not have the TV control their emotions and desires. Programmed, controlled artificial realities embed dependency and irrationality only. It will prevent the mind from integration and destroy intellectual development. Disney knew that and so did the psychologists in Germany in the 1800s when they created the great indoctrination system for totalitarianism (Prussian skool system which Horace Mann brought over and John Dewey perfected to make slaves for the corporations, factories/elites.) The radio was a big wet-dream of the totalitarians and the TV got the minds of even younger children which they knew could create a Brave New World with the right “programming” and destruction of the Natural family and Just Law. They destroyed both the legal system and then the Natural family—and their wet-dream of TVs in every little child’s bedroom is almost universal.—Total Mind Control from cradle to grave.

As noted on twitter, people are paying as much per month for cable (and Net etc) as new car payments or close to it. Some are cutting the cord.

I cant stand ESPN. That was one of the reasons I cut the cord BUT The 30 for 30 documentaries are outstanding. I wish they did more stuff like that instead of the social engineering stuff.

I totally understand that, but the content providers (like ESPN), and cable companies, damn well better wake up.
Subscribers are leaving by the millions and in the not too distant future, there won't be anyone left to screw over.

Not to mention the hypocrisy. Google ESPN and sexual harassment, and you will see a host of names (no pun intended) that settled.

And I’ll bet not one ESPNer would ever live in a minority neighborhood. But watch the groveling during Feb (the so-called and whitewashed “Black History Month” . . . again pun not intended)

Like my wife said years ago, “All the cable channels are commercial now like broadcast TV. Why are we paying anything?”

Why indeed? We shut it all off and now just catch movies and shows through Netflix and AmazonPrime. Lots of content for $12 per month. Add Masterpiece Theatre free from the air and we’ve never missed all those cable channels.

ESPN is failing because it stopped covering sports.

Sort of like MTV did with music.

I can’t believe anyone could stomach ESPN for at least the last 15 years. It’s been unwatchable tabloid garbage mixed with PC propaganda presentations. They only cover events that happen off the field. Good luck seeing highlights from the game, it’s just a bunch of boring talking heads.
