Look, in the end Trump will inevitably win on the travel ban and the sanctuary city funding. This will all go to the supreme court and the precedent will be set for decades to come.

In the meantime, the democrat’s defense of drug lords, gang members and Isis refugees is exposed. It’a a win win for Trump. This is the national security battle of the future. These court decisions help Trump more than they hurt.

I think that is a very Rose-colored-lens view of what is happening. Exposure...to what end? Will it change one single Hillary vote over? And over to what...more Establishment Republicans? Trump may not realize it, but he is in the middle of a battle much greater than he even imagined a year ago. His enemies are out literally for his blood...but even more so to wipe any vestige of opposition off the face of the planet. And they will do anything to accomplish that.

Trump needs to use every power available to him not just to thwart their efforts, but to ruthlessly destroy their ability to influence events. He is in a kill or be killed position. He needs to understand the ruthless psychosis of his (and our) enemy.

Your post has me thinking. I don’t agree with you that it’s a win-win for Trump. It’s disturbing that so many judges will thwart a presidents legal actions because they disagree with him politically, amounting to an overthrow of the government. Your post brings up perhaps a strategy to bring an end to Sanctuary Cities. That new federal bureau to help victims of invader crime should help those victims sue Sanctuary Cities and other entities out of existence!
