"DHS Secretary: I Think Trump Will Be Dealing With a North Korea Capable of Striking U.S. By End of First Term"
If one anti-missile missile failes 3 out of 9 times, you shoot 4 of them. Total failure rate: 1.2%. Or you fire 5...
And for some reason the latest NORK missle blew up upon launch. Things that make you go hmmm.....
1. MSM never called them “Communist North Korea.”
2. Most of our large cities are Democrat strongholds. So essentially we got nothing to lose if they blow up a couple.
When the can is kicked down the road enough times at some point there’s no more road to kick it down.
Same thing is going to happen with Iran and possibly at the same time.
Say cheese at the bright lights in the sky.... then fade to black.
They can already if they go the dirty bomb route
And North Korea will be the glowing spot in that area, no longer just a white dot in all that darkness (satellite view of the country at night).
DO NOT FORGET we can all thank Clinton and 0bama for helping NK and Iran reach this point
My goodness is there a lot of problems with this guy.
“”Clearly, there are countries on the planet that have a lot of nuclear weapons that would overwhelm any defense that we would deploy.”
North Korea has a limited nuclear capacity with missiles like the TD-2 or the KN-08 both capable of around 3400 miles. There have been North Korean nuclear subs on both coasts for a just a short time as the Koreans have identified 6 Sinpo-class nuclear submarines capable of launch for the commission. They have lied many times in the past.
This is what we know. If this is the case, why wasn’t Obama working this problem and left it for Trump?
red
Still think we should wait it out? BTW, I know John Kelly and he’s not the excitable type.
Kelly should be referring BMD questions to the Sec Def where those programs reside. This is way out of the DHS lane, despite his previous military experience.
How many MFLOPS available in 2004 vs. 2017?
I remember back during the first Gulf War a CNN(?) reporter in Israel was TELLING a military spokesman that the Patriot Missiles deployed to defend Israel didn’t work. While they were talking, a missile fired in the background and a few seconds later there was an explosion in the sky as the incoming missile was destroyed. Too funny!
Failing six times out of nine is better than not trying 9 out of nine times.
33% is huge statistically seeking 1 time out of 3. Lots of room for improvement and lots of research money too. Still better than ‘better than’ nothing.
