There is speculation in this thread that Obambi took his Secure iPad that had government security access with him when he left office, a big no-no, just as Hillary was allowed to keep her Top Secret and beyond Security Clearance and access, supposedly to help her write her memoir, after she left her Secretary of State position. I do not see any definitive proof of such a fact, but it is possible. If so, it would be possible for those in charge of such a secure iPad to remotely wipe and brick it, if it were in the possession of someone no longer authorized to possess it. That's the whole idea of Apple's security. I did that with some Apple devices stolen in a burglary from my office last fall, rendering them useless for resale except as a source of spare parts. — PING!
