Psychiatrists are NOT supposed to diagnose people without direct examination. The APA prohibits its members from giving professional opinions about public figures they have never met.
After a 4 year Bachelor’s and 2 years in APA aproved Master’s. and lots of extracurricular reading and study, I learned one cannot believe those in the field of psychology or phsichiatry, professions based primarily on speculation and unproven theory.
This is the same gang that diagnose on the basis of the disease du jour. Schizophrenia caused by schizophenohenic mothers, libidinous problems, Oedipus Complexes, Jungian delusions, and on and on. Narcissism is very current.
What most do not know is the nature of humans, what is normal and what abnormal AND the wide variations within normal. Unless their analyses are based on long term interaction with a person and a knowledge of truth and errors about the facts of humanity they are just bloviating.
