My problem in my workplace is intergenerational. My younger coworkers do not understand many of my witticisms, as they've never heard of Animal House, Blazing Saddles, Sam Kinison, etc. I have to be careful, as I have learned how unread they are, despite the alphabet soup after their names.
As a test, for the past two weeks my desktop wallpaper has been a photo of the gate to Dachau, with its "Arbeit Macht Frei" in the center. Crickets.
On the 75th anniversary of the Doolittle Raid, the response I received was "I looked it up...very interesting." Like I said, I work with an incurious, unread bunch.
On my "road trips", I include history into my travels. After a trip to Memphis, and a stop at Sun Studio, my son corrected his drama teacher when she spoke of Elvis writing "Blue Suede Shoes." He pointed out to her that it was Carl Perkins that wrote, and first recorded the song. In fact, Carl was the first artist to have a song hit #1 on the Rock, R&B, and Country charts with the same song.
Of course, the teacher couldn't believe that she was wrong, until a search was performed.

Truth is not allowed: it was banned in the public square and public skools in 1960s so Satanism and irrationality could be embedded into little white children and they would be so ignorant (as Fichte, Wundt planned) so they would actually believe Slavery is Freedom, Up is Down and Boys can be Girls (for the Marxist “utopia” of totalitarianism (complete slavery and Mind Control).
After 12 years of indoctrination and separation from their biological parents, children will be totally warped and incapable of critical thought, since emotions will control the mind and reason/logic jettisoned for “feelings”. Cognitive Dissonance is ALL that will result when exposed to TRUTH (God) since all lies and ignorance was forced for 12 years on children in formative years and REPEATED over and over so it became the “truth”.
Guaranteed if you went through publik skools—most everything you “know” is not so.
Only Classical Christian curricula gives wisdom of the ages and tools for critical thinking (Socratic Method, Aristotelian logic and Euclidian proofs/Bible—Natural Law (our Constitution), and the loving Natural Family can create reason and logic and embed natural instincts—Common Sense-—in the masses, where there is only male/female paradigm (no vice like sodomy and baby-killing normalized in little children ).

Guess we beees gettin’ old huh? LOL! We went to Carmel calibfornia on Monday as part of a road trip and I told someone on the beach I hadn’t been there in 62 years and they looked at me real strange. As if Carmel didn’t exist 62 years ago? Then I said I went to a 2 room school house in Carmel Valley and they were really dumb struck. Two room school house? HUH? LOL! 1-6 in one room, 7-12 in the other one. Pretty easy to figure out. ;-) Historical context is now apparently over-rated.

Mr. Weaver is very brave and he’s right. The Social Justice Warriors are winning but they don’t have to. It just takes a little nationalism and a little patriotism.
My comment seemed to resonate throughout the theatre, while my kids sunk lower into their seats. Good movie, but IMO that was a major divergence from the novel.

Instead of writing a book, just tell them to move to a suburb in the DFW Metroplex. It's a remarkably diverse area, and primarily conservative to boot. Teachers and school administrators get slapped down hard when they become too liberal.

Earlier this year, we received an email from a teacher because my son was caught playing a game on his school-issued tablet. My response was double-edged: after saying I would emphasize that he shouldn't play games on it, I remarked that if you don't want kids playing games on tablets, they never should have been issued in the first place, that this should have been considered when textbooks were removed from the classroom.
I see the same thing not only with young’uns but with folks my age who run in different, i.e. Leftist fascists, circles. I quote STRANGELOVE, CASABLANCA, KELLY’S HEROES, CADDYSHACK, SCI FI TV and get blank stares. And I do not care. I just smile and walk off.

LOL! Heard someone calling out the #6 race in Georgia dem “contestant” as looking a lot like pj boy. What’s his name again? Ossoff or something. But hey, he’s supporting “alicia” in her med school studies and when she’s done he plans to move right back up the block into the district. Sad thing is, he got 48% of the vote in a 17 way race. Runoff in June.
