One worker was at the hole when the operator of the backhoe was shot, he ran towards the victim and was shot as well. Three males dead.

I am a huge RKBA supporter with an impressive firearm collection. I am pretty good about living in Condition Yellow.
At the same time, if a psycho walks up and shoots me in the head while I am operating a backhoe or doing yardwork, it would be tough to respond.

Probably a vengeful hostile work place incident, where someone got the bastards that were ruining their lives. It happens all the time. If it was, then G-d bless the shooter...if it wasn’t...then Hell awaits. There will be justice in the end, G-d assures us. Most don’t realise it, but most workplace shootings are actually the result of this. Push someone too far....and BANG BANG BANG....and good riddance of the trash. Sad, but true. The truth never comes out.

The right of self-defense doesn’t stop at the end of your driveway. That’s why I have a concealed carry permit and why tens of millions of Americans do too. That permit should be valid in all 50 states. A driver’s license works in every state, so it’s common sense that a concealed carry permit should work in every state. If we can do that for driving – which is a privilege, not a right – then surely we can do that for concealed carry, which is a right, not a privilege.
