Statement of Bill O'Reilly on his Departure from Fox News
Bill O'Reilly.com ^ | April 19, 2017 | Bill O'Reilly

Posted on 04/19/2017 9:42:35 PM PDT by TBP

Over the past 20 years at Fox News, I have been extremely proud to launch and lead one of the most successful news programs in history, which has consistently informed and entertained millions of Americans and significantly contributed to building Fox into the dominant news network in television. It is tremendously disheartening that we part ways due to completely unfounded claims. But that is the unfortunate reality many of us in the public eye must live with today. I will always look back on my time at Fox with great pride in the unprecedented success we achieved and with my deepest gratitude to all my dedicated viewers. I wish only the best for Fox News Channel.

Good points. I hardly watch fox anymore. I get my news exclusively here. I’m happier for it.

Well, people told Sean he has been listened to. Everyone deserves privacy u less they are HIGHLY under suspicion of major crimes. Which Sean is not. So Sean needs to watch his every step, his every communication. It isn’t fair.

But what O’Reilly did, how poorly he treated women, his socipathic arrogance: Sean has nothing to worry about there.

The point is that it is not harassment. What two consenting adults do is their business.

Well, since when have Progressive fought fairly? Sean, regardless of his clean reputation, will be targeted for no other reason than he is a high profile member of the Fox News lineup.

People like letterman, dyed in the wool Progressive Liberal, just as his replacement Colbert are allowed to use and abuse women. The Left protects people like mother bears, while Soros groups like Media Matters are unrelenting in their attacks on independents and the right. It’s come to a point that people of the right cannot even look at women without fear of being accused of supposed micro-aggression.
The real chattels are women who align themselves with and work for Progressives, there they are paid less than men, used to bring the coffee, sandwiches and suffer endless sexual abuses sort on a daily basis.

Sean and/or Tucker. Glenn Beck seems to think they’ll come after both.

Murdoch’s sons are liberals, and they were being threatened by left-wing activists and advertisers. I guess they’d rather keep their advertisers than their viewers.

But under pressure, innocent people hve been ousted and destroyed before by these totalitarians.

Now, I don’t know if O’Reilly did any of it, all of it, some of it, or none of it. But I know that it was the pressure from the totalitarian progressive left that caused this.

Several years ago, I was working at a radio station. The desk next to mine was occupied by a woman. She was friendly and attractive, but professional. We made small talk while we did our work.

One day, she came in and had a new hairdo. I commented on it, and noted that it looked good. (Which it did.) She smile, thanked me, and asked, “Why didn’t my husband notice that?” To which I answered, “Well, you’d have to ask him that.” We both chuckled and went about our work.

You can’t do that today. It would be considered sexual harassment. And that’s a problem.

Would a network like One America or The Blaze or Newsmax hire O’Reilly to try and get a ratings boost?

He got fired because of a highly organized, well-funded leftist mob. And if you think they are all going home after this victory and aren’t going to target more people who oppose their radical commie politics, think again.

Oh, I have no doubt that's true. All the more reason for someone in his position to not put himself in a hotel restaurant alone with a female subordinate. Or on the phone making explicit sexual comments to a female subordinate.

This was inevitable.

I used to like Tucker....before he got his own show. This format STINKS ON ICE and he acts VERY swish; not "queer", limp wristed though.

Yes, yes, I know he's married and has children, but he never acted this way before and it creeps me out. It has less than NOTHING at all to do with "coming from a fairly posh family"!

Nope, St. Georges is okay, but NOT as top shelf as Exeter, Andover, Governor Dummer, Groton, Middlesex, or St. Paul's. It's kinda like going to Trinity ( which he did...IIRC ), instead of Yale, Harvard, or Brown; perhaps even Princeton. :-)

Actually, there are a LOT of extremely fine ( though some have fallen to low level and living on past reputation now ) boarding schools, which none but the cognescenti ( and not even most of them ) know about. ;^)

AFAIK, Portsmouth Abbey is still okay, Hotchkiss is mostly okay, but Choate-Rosemary Hall has been through decades of drug abuse and sex abuse crap, dirtying their rep.

There are libtards and then there are the faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar left NOBODIES that Tucker has on and just sits there, google-eyed and open mouthed, as they scream at him, rant, rave, and carry on like depraved cretins.

What with putting THE FIVE, in the 9:00 P.M. slot, now, FNC is on its last legs and mostly unwatchable.
