Next week’s scheduled speech by right-wing pundit Ann Coulter at UC Berkeley is off — for now — because campus officials say they won’t be able to protect participants from rioting if it should happen.
"We have been unable to find a safe and suitable venue for your planned April 27 event featuring Ann Coulter," vice chancellors Scott Biddy and Stephen Sutton emailed the student groups co-hosting the event — the Berkeley College Republicans and BridgeUSA — Tuesday evening.

It's pretty obvious, any number of blowhards aside, that many are just waiting for the actual shooting to start.
Find a spot just outside of campus, hold the event, use a private security company armed with AR15.
No shocker, free speech is only permitted for those who adhere to the communist party dictat. It has been dead for years in Berkeley.

It was never about free speech. It was all about moving the leftist agenda forward. They always intended to suppress all speech they disagree with.
These are typical leftist, statist, tactics. The Antifa are Fascists in their actions. They are demonstrating that they unwilling to accept democracy and a limited government.
The universities are ALL using this excuse because it worked several times elsewhere.

Yes, they can. Just let the police shoot into the ground and watch the chicken s..ts run. The shots must come from 360 degrees so that no one group of police can be targeted and all rioters can be allowed to run free unless they aggress the police. Then, jail them.
And the Berkeley cops would just be standing by watching, eating donuts, and enjoying the riot.
