Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) will not seek reelection in 2018, BuzzFeed News reported Wednesday morning.
Chaffetz, the House Oversight Committee chairman, played a key role in investigating Hillary Clinton during the presidential campaign. But he has resisted probing President Trump over the potential for him to profit from the presidency, noting that Trump is "already rich."

Good. This guy has been one of the biggest douchenozzles in the entire House, and that’s saying something.
This guy is useless. Glad he’s gone. Anti-Trumper, no spine.
Word is he wants to run for gov against Minion.
Already has the most money in all of Congress, he’s super rich.
Something is up in Utah. I realized after I posted that Chaffetz is in the House and Mitt is being talked about for A Senate seat.
Willard isn’t running for Governor, it’s Hatch’s seat he covets (however, one of his military-service dodging demon spawn want to run). I also see Willard’s buttboy, Egg McMuffin, is considering running for Chaffetz’s seat. Here’s a prime opportunity for him to run as the Communist Democrat he is.
Only the Republicans will retire.
The Dems will blame their misdeeds on everyone else and continue to get away with it.
Woah, screw Romney’s kids but it’s not like they dodged the draft. Tagg never being in the army doesn’t register on the list of reasons why he shouldn’t be a Congressman.
Word is he wants to run for Governor in 2020 and doesn’t want that stuff weighing him down.
The fact that the family has dodged service for generations is a very serious issue and should be brought up as a disqualifier. Augmenting that is the fact that it was openly stated that “the kids” working on Daddums farcical Ringer candidacy for President was the “equivalent” of serving in the military should be the death knell for this despicable family.
People shouldn’t be judged on whether their grandpa joined the army or not.
The military is not for everyone, including you and me. We don’t need to be getting all “Starship Troopers” up in here.
That makes no sense.
You could say it’s craven but it makes plenty of sense.
People who like Trump will be mad at him the more he continues with these stupid investigations.
People who don’t like Trump, of which there are plenty in the Utah GOP base, will be mad at him he doesn’t or isn’t zealous enough in investigating.
Solution, quit the job and stop being involved with and responsible for stupid investigations.
It’s not just one person. It’s the WHOLE family going back generation after generation. These folks have dodged service clear back to their English ancestors. I have a huge problem with that. That they have the nerve to equate volunteering to help with a fake campaign as service in a war zone is disgustingly offensive.
You & I not serving has more to do with health issues. These are young, strapping, healthy sons who run from service like cowards. And they are cowards just like their father.
