The U.S. military’s non-nuclear “mother of all bombs” (MOAB) hit the Islamic State in Afghanistan so hard that it cracked buildings in neighboring Pakistan.

Villagers complained to Dawn, a newspaper in Pakistan, that the bomb cracked numerous houses and a mosque in Malana village located in the foothills of the White Mountain, which serves as a border between the two countries.

Boycott Chinese goods. Look at your labels. It is possible, I've been about 90% successful avoiding Chinese goods.

Oh, by the way y'all, when purchasing your frozen fish/shrimp/crawdad from Kroger, HEB, Brookshire brothers or Wally World.....look at the labels.

No way, no how will I purchase flounder, shrimp, crawdad from freakin China. Good grief! Our country is surrounded by water and these outfits are selling seafood produced in China? Uh uh...no way. Louisiana crawdad, Gulf Shrimp or nothing.

By the way gentleman....Cavenders Western Wear and similar stores are carrying western boots made in China.

I wrote Justin and Tony Lama a letter on FB saying something like, “American cowboy boots made in China? Seriously?”.

Didn't take long to get a few hundred likes and a response from both companies. lol

Cowboy boots made in China? Not a freakin chance.

I read somewhere (here?) That the JCS was aware of as many as 800 ISIS jihadists in the valley prior to the drop. Sure would be cool if it were true.

Last night on Fox Gingrich mentioned that we have a bigger bomb than the MOAB. Now I know that Vlad has the FOAB but I can’t find any info that the US has a FOAB.

No. The Hiroshima bomb was in the 20,000 TON range of TNT.

I thought it was 10-15 kiloton but I could be wrong.

Your numbers are the probable yield for Little Boy, the nuclear weapon dropped on Hiroshima. 10 to 15 Thousand tons equivalent of TNT. MOAB is somewhere around five to six tons equivalent of TNT or around 1/1000th the size of Little Boy.

Did it also cause the dry rot around the windows and on the rafters and fascia board?

Yes. It also keyed the Pakistani Prime Minister's car, stole his girlfriend, peed in his flower garden, maxed his credit cards, and curdle his milk.

Who knew we had a bomb that could do all that?

I think the MOAB weighed 21 tons. Which makes one wonder why they didn’t just use TNT.

The yield must have been higher, much higher than 11 tons.

The weapon does not just contain the explosives. A large part of the internal space is taken up by the fuzing/Firing system the guidance system and sometimes parachute packages. The body of the weapon weighs a considerable portion of the total weight.

11 tons of actual TNT is very large; much larger than the MOAB itself. Also, TNT is much more dangerous to handle than modern high explosives. Modern high explosives have equivalent yields in much smaller and lighter forms. We rate our weapons on TNT equivalencies but never use TNT.

Excluded under the War Clause.

In a country next-door, when you aren't part of the war?

Sounds like that could keep the UN Court tied-up for the next seventeen years.

More than likely, all involved are not telling us the truth about how many were killed. The numbers are probably far higher than what has been reported.

Most of the buildings are already burned out rubble in Detroit. It would be a waste.
