Former President Bill Clinton originally did not want Hillary Clinton to apologize for her use of a private email server while serving as secretary of State, a new book reveals.
The Hill's Amie Parnes and Sidewire's Jonathan Allen report in "Shattered: Inside Hillary Clinton's Doomed Campaign" that the former Democratic presidential nominee's top advisers thought she should apologize, regardless of whether or not she had done something wrong.
But Bill Clinton thought differently.
Instead, he thought his wife should explain what she was thinking and why she didn't believe she had done anything wrong with her email setup. During an August, 2015 campaign appearance in Iowa, Clinton addressed the issue of her email server.
“It clearly wasn’t the best choice. I should’ve used two emails— one personal, one for work," she said.

I was ready to buy this book but then I saw that the same authors wrote a previous book last year (”HRC”) that was obviously a puff-piece written to capitalize on her becoming president. So right now I’m not trusting their journalistic integrity. I’ll wait for some Freeper reviews to come in first before buying.

Oh, okay....that’s good.
Yet, I’d still prefer them deal w/ realtime punitive justice.

Clinton going to jail over the email server is my litmus test for whether this country wants to even pretend to go by the Rule of Law.

Part of Hillary’s problem was taking Bill’s advice. Bill had a superficial charm that appealed to America’s lowest element, and he could get over 50% support even when people knew he was lying and wrong. Hillary is every man’s worst nightmare and every decent woman’s idea of what they do not want to become. She couldn’t get away with moves that Bill took for granted.

If you don't know what you're doing setting up an email server, you'll have connection problems. The most expedient way to restore the connectivity is to disable the encryption (TLS.) It's also a HUGELY bad idea. It's meant to help isolate and fix the problem LONG before the server goes into production!
I've dealt with people like Clinton before. They want it done now, and you better get it working, they don't care what it takes.
It also didnt help when they believed they're not subject to laws and that nobody would dare defy them.

The NYT, WaPo, NPR and the rest of the MSM is promoting the heck out of this book... that should tell you something.
The fact that these pigs are still breathing freedom is proof there is no justice when it comes to the rich and powerful.
Liz, good post... but remember, the Paula Jones lawsuit was delayed until well after the impeachment process to take the Paula Jones testimony out of congressman’s deliberations.
