The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows that 50% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance. Fifty percent (50%) disapprove.
This is the first time the president’s overall approval rating has been back in the 50s in nearly a month. Just after his inauguration, Trump’s job approval peaked at 59% and remained in the 50s every day until early March. It’s gone as low as 42% since then.

I’m not. There are just so many things that wouldn’t get a pass in previous administrations, possibly even Reagan’s, that seemed glossed over here. There’s always some justification.

This may or may not have been addressed in the comments, but the headline not only doesn’t match the source, but up 2% on a daily tracking poll is hardly “soaring.” In any other context, we would have called this a fake headline.

Actually, the only question necessary is "will the lefty anti-Trump channels report this very sad polling news AT ALL tonight?".

Hah - true - I meant Rasmussen had the race tight all of October and November (+-2/3 pts) and not just showing the race tighten in the last day or two like most of the major polls did.
Lets' face it. Dropping bombs has generally given a president a spike in the polls. His moderation in his approach has possibly helped too.
I don't remember anything major happening prior to that, with the exception of course, of the assassination attempt.
What did they decide at the Pow Wow?
Reuters has Trump at 48% approval, so Reuters is in line with Rasmussen.
