The charcoal to use is the natural charcoal sold under names like “Cowboy Charcoal.” It’s pure charred wood with a proper carbon content and, when burned, leaves little residue. Kingsford, OTOH, is partly coal dust and partly fillers and adhesive, causing it to leave a huge amount of waste after burning and to combust badly when used in gunpowder. Use the good stuff. Long, long ago when I was in HS I tried to make black powder using Kingsford. My product was horrible. Never trie to make it since, but looks like the “Cowboy Charcoal” would work a lot better.
Ban the dang hoodies and scarfs covering faces in this country and expose these animals.........including in the hood and elsewhere.....if your going to fight then show your cowardly face!
