Berkeley MAGA Protest:
2 AntiFa protesters throw two M-80's into the MAGA side of the downtown protest.
MAGA people jump over police divider to AntiFa side, big fist-fight breaks out.
Event has not even yet begun, officially (begins in 15 min).
The camera man is a little low on courage for the job. Hiding behind trees (some lovely shots of tree trunks) and running when no one is coming at him.
The cameraman/reporter is Tim Pool (TimCast on twitter) and I think he is having to contend with the vagaries of cell phone coverage:
In many cases he has to strike an aggravating balance between signal and event interest.
I know this really bugs him.
put out the word that those wearing masks are Trump supporters and the cops will be on them like white on rice.
If he expects many people to donate to him on Patreon he needs a better setup. The video is practically unwatchable, so much buffering and freezing.
We are one mag dump away from CW2.
An M-80 stashed inside a sock or medical glove with BBs could do some serious damage.
I think it’s necessary to tolerate disorder, sometimes quite a lot, but the “complaint” must have some basis in reality. That said, the past several years of communist agitation has got to stop. They have no rational complaint, they promote disorder for disorder’s sake. Time for toleration is over. I really don’t care how badly the cops beat them.
Then, you purchase an equal size poster paper - my preference is yellow because it stands out - and you create whatever message you wish to say using large letters with black marker.
Once you have created your sign on the poster paper, using a razor or scissors, slice the bottom edge of the cellophane wrapping on the poster board, reinforcing the left and right edge with tape so that the cellophane wrap does not tear upwards. This allows you to reuse the poster board for future signs.
At this point, all you have to do is slip the poster paper sign up into the poster board where the paper will be protected from the elements by the cellophane wrap.
OK, here's where your ingenuity begins. You're going to have to affix a handle onto the poster board so that it can be carried high and proud.
My choice is an axe handle. But before you can mount the handle, you first need to add supports to the poster board. You need 4 strips of thin wood, preferably 12" long, and 1.5" or 2" wide and maybe a quarter inch thick. They will be centered on the poster board at the bottom, two on each side, spaced about 8" apart above each other and held together by whatever means you have in terms of nuts and bolts.
Now that you have the poster board braces in place, you now need to affix the handle.
Since you have chosen to use an axe handle, on the axe head end of the handle, simply sand down one side of the handle so that it is flat and can be centered on the two support braces you installed on the poster board. Drill one hole through the center of each brace as well as the axe handle and affix with whatever size nut and bolt you have chosen.
There you have it, a nice protest sign which in an emergency, can be converted to an axe handle for protection simply by bashing the sign on either the sidewalk thus releasing the sign or start with an attacker's head.......
It can come under many guises
Video froze for so long I refreshed the screen. Now youtube requires you to log in.
Surely it was just a firecracker.
Plus he is using leftist talking points by having the title of the video calling Conservative Trump supporters (LIVE AT BERKELEY ANTIFA V) ALT RIGHT (EVENT)
Alt right has strong negative aspects to it.
MAGA needs to put a few piggy Antifa heads on stakes in Berkeley
Thanks for the link
“put out the word that those wearing masks are Trump supporters and the cops will be on them like white on rice.”
Unfortunately, George $oreA$$’s paid protestors/rioters/looters have been using face masks for at least two decades and having zero problems with the Bezerkly, SF and Oakland cops.
Often after a paid day of protesting and rioting, they turn to looting the local merchants where they are protesting and the cops just stand by.
The next morning, the merchants have to have their expensive store windows and doors replaced again.
