House GOP to File Criminal Charges Against Lois Lerner in IRS Scandal

Rep. Peter Roskam (R-IL) went on with Stewart Varney on Thursday morning to discuss recent developments on Capitol Hill.
Roskam told Stewart House Republicans are planning of filing criminal charges against Lois Lerner.
Rep. Roskam: The Obama Administration was very lenient with the crimes that Lois Lerner committed. And those are strong words that I’m using but the House Ways and Means Committee voted out a criminal referral to the Department of Justice which was completely dismissed by the Department of Justice… We think that Lois Lerner did two things wrong. Number one, she denied people due process and equal protection of the law based on their political philosophy. We’re convinced that there is overwhelming evidence to suggest that that’s true. And that’s a felony. Secondly, we suspect that she lied to the Inspecter General of the Treasury Department.

This better not be fake news! A top-down investigation to ferret out all her cronies still there is also warranted.

They sure as hell waited long enough to take any action.
Is this Kabuki theater or will it lead to an actual indictment and prosecution?

It’s about f’ing time! Put her in jail, fine her into oblivion, and take her pension. Make sure she’s whoring in the streets if she ever is released from prison.

You say there is no there there. What exactly do you mean by that? Are you suggesting that there is no evidence?
You also may want to consider this. The cost of defending yourself against a government action can run to the millions easily and she will have to pay for her defence.

Probably no evidence that will convict her if she ever actually gets charged. You may be able to tell I don’t have a lot of trust in the judicial system these days.

Her criminal activity involved her job so I sure hope that they can strip Lerner of her pension.
Besides she will get free room & board at Leavenworth, what will she need money for anyway

The congress has been impotent on the crimes committed by the Obama administration. The congress has been impotent on the crimes committed by all administrations in my lifetime.

I don't know but I hope so, but not until they are convicted. Ask Jessie Jackson Jr. he is drawing more retirement than he was salary because he is disabled. Why is he disabled you ask? Because he is a thief so he must be crazy.

Is this Kabuki theater or will it lead to an actual indictment and prosecution? In my opinion there will be no indictments. Congress itself is totally corrupt. Anyone go to jail over the BCCI bank scandal, the House Bank Scandal, the House Post Office Scandal?

She knew it was wrong from the start.Disagree on that. Leftists like her have NO CONSCIENCE in abusing government bureaucracy to sock it to perceived enemies. They know that there are few judges out there who are gutsy enough to put them in their places. Lerner certainly sounded above the law when called to testify before Congress.
BTW, have any of the groups persecuted by Lerner's tyranny filed civil liberties suits against her and the IRS? If so, how are those cases going?

REMEMBER, ANYBODY CAN FILE A RICO SUIT--
DONT NEED AN ATTY--PLENTY OF DIY SITES ON THE NET Nail Lerner this way: full investigations centering on RICO conspiracies under 18 U.S.C. §1962(c) could be warranted because:
(1) this person (2) was employed by, or associated with, a federally-funded enterprise (3) that engaged in, or affected, interstate commerce; and that (4) persons operated or managed the enterprise (5) through a pattern (6) of racketeering activity, and that (7) taxpayers were injured by reason of the pattern of racketeering activity.
