Oh baby. You're just teasing me now.
they may be “allowed” to kick people selectively, however the win the right to be sued for actual damages based on the actual circumstances of the passenger.
local police were called not federal authorities.
Sounds official. What Federal Police were involved?
But doesnt it make you feel better knowing that the populous and the govt passed these laws to protect you?
his choice his life. not united’s call.
you don’t get “a night” btw. you get “a voucher” which is usually insufficient for a close to airport hotel. no voucher for transportation and meals.
the next flight was 24 hours. in the real world time is critical when traveling. deadlines matter.
I thought of the Bundy’s too.
There is a real risk in taking a stand. Even when you are right you have to be prepared to lose. Good thing our forefathers stood up, some of them died or were ruined in health & finances but they stood up for their rights & beliefs. According to commenters on this thread they were the idiots, losers etc.
Confusing to see that aspect completely overshadowed on this website by the supposed right of the airline to do whatever the employees want you to do at any time with or without a reason or a legal right for them to so order you.
Your scenario is wrong. All 3 airport cops are suspended. Their chief said their actions were indefensible.
A conservative would know that this question should be posed to the person giving up their seat.
Second the "populous" (whatever that is) didn't write any such laws. The Constitution is allegedly what our lawmakers are supposed to follow and if they don't, we the People need to throw their butts out.
Now lets all shed tears for poor oppressed Kaitlen Jenner.
Or maybe we should cheer her heroic stand.
Jeese this guy was an unstable drama queen that asked for most of what he got.
I think most of us have been inconvenienced in travel and somehow avoided his result.
There is going to be a lot of mileage gotten by ad writers and comedians out of this incident. I am certainly grinning at some of the first one liners I’ve seen.
I continue to hope that this starts a competition among airlines to compete for our business by delivering a better customer experience.
he paid for his own dress.
As for the paying airline passenger, you take your plaintiff as you find them.
how about more space for seating? you can’t even type on a laptop these days. too squished in.

What kills me is WWIII is bubbling all around us and this is the story we are fixated on.
There is a lot of injustice in this mean old world but this story aint ****.
Did Trump cave in on the Syria strike like Munoz is caving in?
We have become a snowflake nation.
Yup. We are all sick of what we have demanded, and wish to walk it back to the way it was in the olden days. You know, the days of injustice and capitalism.
The Chief is covering his butt to get his pension.
I love capitalism, makes the world goes around, creates opportunities, niches, winners & losers who do better the next time.
Agreed, and Munoz stepped on his **** handling this one.
