I worked with a girl in the Summer of 1965 who would have beaten his ass. She was probably not too far off the women’s world record tho I don’t think she ever competed.
I ran a 10.4 and she would make me run close to max to beat her. She was also a beautiful blonde.
Speaking of beautiful blondes-- you know who could kick your friend's ass? Caitlyn Jenner. Va-va-voom. That's what we're fighting for back home, boys! Now go kill some Syrians/North Koreans
Was your a 10.4 for 100 yds or 100 meters?
Back in ‘65 I would say 100 yds.
Not wanting to call you a liar, but the world record in 1964 was 10.06. A 10.4 would have placed you in first in every single first round heat in the 1964 Olympics, put you in the top 5 in the second round, and placed you in 6th in the Semifinals, qualifying you for the Final where you would have come in 4th, just off of the podium.
If she was just behind you, then she would have won gold, since the Women's US, Olympic, and World records were set by Wyomia Tyus in the first heat of the second round in the 1964 Olympics at 11.2 seconds... which is about 25 feet behind you. An 11.7 would have gotten her into the Final. Two women ran over 12.9 in their opening heats... but even so, they were Olympians. (Iran and Ghana) Only one woman has ever beaten 10.75, ever.

That's nothing!
I knew a girl that could bench press 1200 lbs. and squat 3000 lbs.
World records for men! But she didn't tell anybody. She was very petite at 5'4" and 119 lbs.
She was totally drop dead gorgeous and was a swimsuit model and a black belt in karate.
In the summer of 1961 in the Army, July 27th, between 6:39 AM and 7:03 AM, I did 79 pushups and ran a 3 mile run in 16 minutes 32 seconds!
I then had 2 scrambled eggs, 1 cup of orange juice, and 1 slice of toast for breakfast, which I completed at 7:49 AM.
I can't believe it's been well over 50 years and I remember details like that so vividly.
