After warnings yesterday, and on the heels of a "very good call" with President Trump, China has escalated its threats to North Korea over its nuclear tests. In another Global Times op-ed, China warns "if the North makes another provocative move this month, the Chinese society will be willing to adopt severe restrictive measures that have never been seen before..."
Yesterday's editorial in the military-focused Global Times tabloid, owned and operated by the Communist Party's People's Daily newspaper, said that North Korea’s nuclear activities must not jeopardize northeastern China, and that if the North impacts China with its illicit nuclear tests through either "nuclear leakage or pollution", then China will respond with force.

I actually think the Chinese would do better at administrating that because they actually went through it. NK labor will end up being slave wages for several years under them, but it’s better than eating pine needles.

But they will need South Koreans to relearn the Korean language. The NORKs speak a bastardized version of the language brought about by their overseers.
At best, North Korea would need ten years under a provisional government, not just to catch up economically to some degree, but also mainly to undo the psychological damage from living in an insane asylum for 70 years. People there are afraid to think, thanks to the psycho state. It would be like cult reprogramming.
Integrating East Germany would be comparatively easy, since many Osties had contact with the West, and were thus “contaminated”.
France, by the way is ditching their bullpup for a return to a normal configuration. I'm waiting for the Brits to admit their error...

I am surprised. You have to wonder if China really will do anything to N. Korea.
China has been cozying up to South Korea over the years. If suddenly the North Korea problem goes away, then there goes the reason for having our troops on the Peninsula. So it would be a win for China, in that sense.
