Following White House press secretary Sean Spicer’s comparison of Syrian President Bashar Assad and German Chancellor Adolf Hitler, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) called for Spicer to be fired.
“Sean Spicer must be fired, and the President must immediately disavow his spokesman’s statements,” she continued. “Either he is speaking for the President, or the President should have known better than to hire him.”
During his daily press briefing Tuesday, Spicer said that, in contrast to Assad’s alleged use of chemical weapons last week, “you had someone as despicable as Hitler, who didn't even sink to using chemical weapons.”

I would give my left Pinky if President Trump would roll out and say to the Left: “That’s all you got, seriously?”....
.In fact, considering the hostility he faces, one of his most important jobs is simply to maintain order and discipline. And he does very well with this.
If the members of congress were fired every time one of them said something stupid or thoughtless, we would be unable to maintain a government. Pelosi would be one of the first to go.

The Democrats should treat Spicer exactly like they did Bill Clinton that time when he wagged his finger our faces and said that he did not have sex with that woman, Monica Lewinsky....And then there was a blue dress...Remember their outrage back then...for something FAR FAR worse — On the job sexual harassment of a subordinate 21 year old female employee...that used to be something liberals would be outraged about. Because they failed to acknowledge Bill Clinton’s criminal behavior back then, they don’t get to be outraged now.

If the GOP had any leadership or initiative they would respond in kind. Every misstatement by Pelosi would draw demands from dozens of Congressmen that she step down immediately for the good of the country. Let it be known quietly that this will happen for two months every time Pelosi calls for the head of a Republican.
For Pelosi to pretend that Mr. Spicer is aligned with Hitler is insane, outrageously insincere, and just plain ugly. The Left in America and worldwide are the true purveyors of a latter day holocaust, by words and deed.

But that’s exactly what Spicer WAS thinking and saying.
I’m not a particular fan of Spicer’s but I knew he was talking about not using chemical weapons on allied troops. But if you get so much close as six miles to the Holocaust, people will squawk.
President Trump as received a lot of praise for his response after Assad’s chemical attack on his own people. In addition, attention is now being focused on the fact that Obama, Kerry, and Rice lied to everyone about Syria disposing of ALL of its chemical weapons. Also, the “Trump is too friendly with Russia” talking point has fallen apart. As a result, the left is using Spicer to manufacture a media frenzy in order to change the narrative.
