Fake news. FISA cannot be used to surveil Americans. For Americans, the FBI needed a good old fashioned warrant from a federal, not FISA, judge.

O.K. You’re right. But the principle is the same. Give a judge a line of BS about Russian spies, and then use the warrant to surveil everybody and their pet monkey.
