Michael Savage Turns on Trump, Says Syrian Gas Attack Was False Flag Operation

Conservative talk show host, Michael Savage, who fervently supported Trump during the Presidential campaign, soured on him today. Savage, referencing his background in science, having a PhD in epidemiology, said the alleged gas attack in the ISIS controlled city of Idlib was most likely phosgene and not sarin.

Backing up his claim that the attack did not contain sarin, Savage made reference to photos showing first responders attending to bodies without gloves or protective gear. Had sarin been used in the attack, all of those men in white helmets would be dead.

In nearly a 15 minute soliloquy over the attack, Savage lamented that the neocon 'military tweet' by Trump was a ploy to increase his popularity, in light of falling poll numbers. Verbosely, Savage hemmed and hawed with disappointment, dispirited that he spent over a year advocating for Trump, who said he eschewed the interventionist policies of people like McCain, Graham, and Schumer, only to cave in shortly after winning the Presidency.

Savage also questioned the timing of Jared Kushner's trip to Iraq, coupled with Bannon's timely demotion from the NSC -- just ahead of the attacks as being highly suspicious.

"This whole thing stinks to high heaven,' said Savage. Furthering his criticism of the President, Savage proclaimed: "It looks like Hillary, deep state won, and Trump is doing her bidding."

As it pertained to who was responsible for the attack, Savage reminded his audience that just last week Putin was considered to be the smartest and most diabolical man on earth. If so, why on earth would he permit Assad to launch a chemical weapons attack, when they had already defeated the rebels, which was sure to turn public opinion against them?

"Why would he do it, you morons you?", said Savage.

Who are we supporting? According to Lindsey Graham, the 'free Syrian army.'

Savage exploded: "The free Syrian Army? There is no such thing. The free Syrian Army are our moderate terrorists created by the CIA and John McCain. John McCain and Lindsey Graham are the mouthpieces for this army of murderers."

"The west jumped to a conclusion, before there was any investigation."

A must listen to a voice of reason.

I’ve listened to him in several interviews, and found him to be a quiet, soft-spoken, very sane/coherent, and genuine.

Boy, I cannot believe some of the people out there on radio and on this site! President Trump goes through 2 years of attacks from EVERYBODY and this is how we treat him. Some people SUCK. So what if he bombs that crap hole countries airbase? Did he say we are sending in troops? NO! Did he say we are starting a war? NO! This was a message to ANYBODY who screws with us. Is he not supposed to protect our troops over there? Does anyone think that Netanyahu has bad intelligence? Do you think that our own special forces are lying to Trump? What a bunch of fair weather friends. Some people make me sick to my stomach. After the things Obama did to us over 8 years, and now Mr Trump does 1 thing some people don’t like and he is EVIL? Stupid? Liberal? Liar? What the heck is wrong with you people. You should be ashamed.

I understand the dodge; that since Asad maybe didn’t directly ORDER the gas attack, he’s innocent. However, it’s his nation, he’s allegedly in charge, the Sarin, etc. is in Syria because he permits it to still BE there, ditto ISIS. So HE is responsible! Now the message has been sent, by President Trump: “Shape the bleep up!”

Let's see...

Savage defends Bannon now, yet a few weeks ago he was trashing Bannon's buddy, Kellyanne Conway.

>>Yeah, Assad is so mentally sound and Russia would never lie and support a murder loving tinpot dictator who leases her a warm weather port!
I am so thankful Savage and you are much more brilliant than Trump. Maybe Savage should run for POTUS in 2020.

I do find Assad mentally sound. Putin has done much to restore Orthodox Christianity in his country.

Disagree with me, it’s your choice. I don’t care. I won’t insult you, as you have a right to your own judgement and opinion. Reciprocity would be nice.

If it was a false flag operation why isn’t Russia and Assad vehemently denying they were involved?

Trump’s enemies are globalists who enrich themselves by instructing their “owned” political lackeys to support war. That is why his enemies are applauding.

Wrong, because Trump's enemies could have it both ways on this. Trump the too quick to shoot bumbler, not seeking Congressional advice, while shoring up the angle about why we would have to respond, in the correct way, if Assad had attacked (the Hillary narrative).

At some point, those who think it makes no sense for Assad to attack have to grapple with the logic of Trump's enemies not seeing occasion to bash him for pulling the trigger before the facts are in. The obvious conclusion at this point? The facts are in.

CNN (trying to give Hillary credit for the response), MSNBC (who are desperately trying to find some Russian angle to bash Trump), NY Times, WaPo, no way they take a pass on bashing Trump. No way.

Well if Assad was stupid or crazy enough to drop chemicals then Trump’s response was pretty powder puff as they didn’t even crater the runways. Syrian jets were seen taking boff from there yesterday. This is reminiscent of Clinton’s aspirin factory.

Who are you going to believe about what type of gas was used? Ivanka and Pee Wee or a Dr of epidemiology? If it was phosgene where did it come from?

“If nothing else, consider it target practice.”

Yes, and a not so subtle message to the Red Chinks, Norks, and Goat Humpers about what’s in their future. I just imagine that Red Chink Pres Xi, spent his after dinner time sitting on the toilet.

Hopefully the President is privy to better intel than Michael Savage. Though not having fired all the Obamunists from the intel agencies put him at risk of bad intel calculated to harm his administration.

Savage ping. Was President Trump’s vision clouded by pics of dead children? Will this turn out like iraq or libya?

From what I've read and heard from Savage yesterday, the gas was much more likely to be chlorine and not sarin. That is enough to put the rest of the story into question as well.

What bothers me the most is how Trump was a fierce skeptic of previous gas attack reports just a few short months ago. So the reaction he's seeing from many supporters shouldn't be a surprise

So now, at best, it looks like he's bowing to political pressure, most likely from the Russia investigation. Worst, it shows that he's actually going to be an interventionalist despite campaigning against it in the election.

No doubt he's walking in a minefield right now, and I still have a lot of faith he'll take us in the right direction, but this does raise a lot of questions.

Was President Trump’s vision clouded by pics of dead children

What I heard someone say (may have been Savage) is that there's no real press in this area, so all the videos and pictures are actually coming in from fairly dubious sources, if not terrorist PR. We already have the old "incubator" story of the past which is now believed to have been staged, so let's hope he didn't make the decision on the pictures alone.

My thought it was a decided upon because he wanted to 1) show the US still does actually have a military, 2) prove he's not a Putin puppet. But the flip side is he broke one of the pillars of the campaign, which makes it look like he may be giving in to the neocon/globalists.

If Trump's "information" about who was responsible for the attack, and the chemical agent used, is "Ivanka and Pee Wee", then he has no business being President period.

Also, I don't see how "Dr. of Epidemiology" makes Savage an expert on chemical weapons. Regardless, minimization of Trump's "sources" on the subject is not fair play. I bet Trump's sources "credential" better than Savage does.

Besides, arent we better than air ball comments that state Trump's sources for the reason of his response is his daughter and son in law? We know that isn't true.

So who determined Assad used chemical weapons to "kill the babies"? Our Deep State? No thanks, I don't trust them simply because it make zero sense that Assad would use CWs to kill 70 people when conventional weapons would kill just as many.

I'm with Savage.

I am not sure I see the difference being dead from phosgene or sarin.

I'm still trying to figure out the difference between being dead from high explosives, fire, and crushing forces, like the 300 or so civilians including children killed in a US bombing raid in Mosul and being dead from chemical weapons in Syria.

Why is everybody upset when somebody else kills a bunch of innocent children but nobody seems to care when a US bombing raid does the same thing?

The net effect of the anti-Assad policy has been hundreds of thousands of deaths, millions of people dislocated, the destruction of much of Syria and Iraq, and the rise of ISIS. How is that a success by any measure?
