Nice try...but Ted Cruz is not a NeverTrumper but is a Trump agenda ally in the Senate.

LOL. This article might have made some legitimate points, but it is nothing more than a screed with no facts attached to it.

Some of us have seen Jared Kushner's role in the Trump administration as a huge red flag ... not because we're loons or NeverTrumpers, but because we've been around New York City long enough to know these people better than your average American does.

I don't trust anyone from the Kushner family -- and I've been saying that for years.

Kushner needs to prove himself to conservatives.

He needs to be examined and grilled.

Compared to Don Jr. who has proved himself, Kushner has been hiding behind Ivanka’s skirt.

Jared and Ivanka are in their mid-thirties. Too young to have any experiential basis upon which to base their advisement of DJT on world affairs and the preservation of a constitutionally-based republic. They are babes in the woods. They were registered New York Democrats at the time of the 2016 primaries and as such never even supported DJT’s nomination. They were NOT elected by the American people to any elective office. And the White House needs to be the hell off limits to them. They are screaming liberal fascists. They should NOT be advising DJT on anything, other than the color of the drapery in the oval office.

Precisely

This hysteria over Jared and Ivanka makes no sense to me

DJT has espoused the same views since the 80s. The fact that he gets information from many sources and view points is a good thing.

From the way some people re acting one would conclude that Trump was an imbecile being led around by a Svengali

Here’s the thing - I know things got very nasty between Trump and Cruz during the campaign, and Cruz failed to carry out his responsibility to unequivocally endorse his party’s nominee in what had to be his worst moment as a national politician. I get all that. But I also know that Cruz is a real, unapologetic and committed conservative and I know he can be counted on to oppose leftist nonsense wherever it sprouts up. If we’re down to taking sides between Cruz and some so-called pragmatist like Kushner, I know who I’m backing.

I don’t really have anything against anybody at this point.

It’s been a strange week, but I think it was a good week.

I’m not even mad at the GOP senate, which is highly unusual.

I have criticized the kiddos, Ivanka and Jared, and remain a big fan of *Sundance and Bannon.

Bannon has undoubtedly been the largest of help, certainly along with Conway, at supporting Donald Trump, both doing their job as precisely as anyone could hope, helping deliver the man to the electorate and the electoral voters. I am forever indebted.

However, we are getting worked over everywhere we go inside media writers and pundits. There are factions de jour plainly pushing Bannon vs. Jared stories, and plainly pushing Jared & Ivanka vs. Bannon.

It’s Alinsky having his method work on us, plain and simple.
Nationalists vs MAGA.

I thought I was “nationalist” if it meant voting Trump. Period.

I was MAGA if it meant returning to the tradition of America at her greatest, which included when she was the Leader of the Free World.

To divide and conquer and sew doubt and bitterness is to beg for our own destruction and that of Trump.

We either hang together with the man, or we most assuredly will hang separately. How hard is that to figure out? How hard are we going to make it?

I think Trump had no intention of being Nationalist to the point of behaving as a little bitty power, like Sweden. Nor do I think he wants to be the Booosches and insert himself and the country into nation building. Not a chance.

But, the man declines to be so ideological that he has no mercy for the innocent, here or in Syria.

That very decency of his IS MAGA. Without it, America is not great.

Most of what Conservativetreehouse posts are indeed conspiracy theories. Very sloppy connect the dots type of BS from the Ferguson conspiracy to the McTurtle/Cruz conspiracy to the Mercer conspiracy to this crap.

This propaganda outlet is so beyond its expiration date.

The reason that Jared and Ivanka shouldn’t be working in the administration, first and foremost, is because they are liberal Democrats working hard to pull Trump and his admin to the left of the platform he ran on and what those who voted him in want him to do. It is fraudulent for Trump to run as a conservative Republican and then hand policy, hiring and his admin over to his liberal Democrat offspring.

Also, Jared especially exposes Trump to charges of impeachment for enriching his family from foreign sources—with the Democrats having a good chance of taking the House in 2018. And yes, putting family with 24/7 access among other government employees is a recipe for a roiled WH and admin.

You don’t have to be a conspiracy loon or a Cruz zealot to see that Kushner is bad for America and bad for Trump.

This entire line of thinking has all the qualities of divide and conquer. There has been an effort to destroy the Trump Administration with this tactic.

I seem to remember just a day or two ago a story from this same source about the Bannon/Priebus/Kushner drama. Now drama re-directed like a teenaged girl.

Cruz has supported Trump for a long while. Are you trying to alienate some of Trump’s supporters by smearing his ally?
