I went through 8 revisions of my master’s thesis because my advisor said it was “too technical” for my field of study. The end result was something that was a narrative pile of crap, and I refused to submit it. Yet garbage like this passes muster, likely more than once every semester, and academe just lets it happen.

Yeah, those Mayan SUVs were terrible CO2 producers.

As crops failed due to the rising temperatures

This explains the vast wheat fields in northern Alaska.

So global warming was happening in the 9th century and obviously wasnt man made back then, or did the mayans have coal fired power plants and SUVs?

Actually, if the ‘scientists’ want to go down this road, LET THEM!!!

It will destroy any credibility they have about trying to link either fossil fuels OR human activity to Climate Change . . . in 900 AD there was little of either!

Hot weather is more inclined to make a people indolent, since activity raises body temperature.

Researchers believe that hot weather made the Mayans more aggressive and therefore likely to fight one another.

So...are these "researchers" the same idiots who say that the science is settled on anthropogenic global warming?

If so, did they just not admit that their science is supremely flawed and bogus? I mean, I don't know of any SUV models that were in use during the age of the Mayans. Any fossil fuels weren't in wide usage back then. So what the actual f***?
