The racist black woman knocked a hole in his boat. We own a nice boat and we WORKED our whole lives to get to this point. The problem with these people is they spend their whole lives being victims. They don’t want to get off welfare because that’s all part of being a ‘pitiful’ victim. They don’t even TRY to do anything different.

It’s the second guessing by law enforcement and the courts that you have to deal with.
Just the fact that you prevailed, and if you had to in a lethal manner, could easily lead to some of them thinking you had an unfair advantage.
I’d sure hope you/or I could prove the threat we perceived.
That’s why after the fact you get a good lawyer, shut up and let him talk. let him/her help you articulate the reasons you felt threatened and guide you through the legal process. And about”unfair advantage”. The only fair fight is the one you walk away from alive. Sun Tzu said the most skilful general is one who wins the battle without fighting. Barring that, he said if you have to fight, use every skill and knowledge and stratagem you have to win. And for self defense that means training with firearms and edged weapons, staying familiar with the laws and ordinances where you are and making sure you have access to competent legal counsel. In short, treat it like a battle. Because it is. For your life and freedom. And go into it with the mindset that you are going to prevail.
