Most of his base agrees with you 100%. It was Trump himself who said he could commit murder on Fifth Avenue and still be popular, or words to that effect.
The problem is he was elected with his base and about 70,000 votes divided among four rustbelt states. His base is now been reduced from 43% which elected him to somewhere in the 30% bracket.
I am not asking Trump to drink his tea with his pinky in the air, I am asking him to have have his tweets vetted before he crashes into cyberspace at 5 AM.
You see, that wouldn’t be “Trump”, that would be “YOU”.
The polls gave him a 2% chance of winning at 7 p.m. the night of the election. He won. Now these same polls say, 43% or 30% and they are the word of God.
I’m not a big fan of his calling out the Freedom caucus but nobody elected Ted Cruz. He’s President and just getting started.
‘It was Trump himself who said he could commit murder on Fifth Avenue and still be popular, or words to that effect.’
No it wasn’t. Trump didn’t say that; I corrected this lie a hundred times during the primary—all to no avail. For Trump-haters/NeverTrumpers, it’s too good not to be true. So what if it’s a lie? To a NeverTrumper, it’s a lie in a good cause.
Smh.
[The original statement was made by either a journalist or a blogger—I believe the former, but it’s been a while since I’ve needed to correct this particular lie, so I don’t have it off the top of my head—and Trump ***repeated/quoted*** what that other source had said. In his actual references this is clear—Trump mentions the fact that someone ELSE said it, not him. Why this is so hard for NeverTrumpers to grasp idk. Just blinded by Trump-hate, I guess.]
And who the heck do you think should vet him? A committee?>
Now you have put the lid on your absurdity.
It HAS???
How do you 'know' this?
