Rand Paul Wants Susan Rice Before Congress (Here it comes)
Breitbart ^ | Ian Mason

Posted on 04/03/2017 5:33:23 PM PDT by RoosterRedux

Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) told reporters Monday afternoon that former Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice “ought to testify under oath” after Bloomberg News’s Eli Lake revealed that, during the presidential transition, she deliberately sought to “unmask” President Donald Trump’s associates from intelligence surveillance.

Paul called the reports that Rice made dozens of requests to learn more about the identities of anonymous people thought to be close to the Trump transition team, inadvertently caught on tape during investigations into foreign persons of intelligence interest, “enormous news.”

“If it is allowed, we shouldn’t be allowing it. I don’t think we should discount how big a deal it is that Susan rice was looking at these,” Paul told the assembled reporters.

The Kentucky Senator then cut to the heart of the growing political fight behind what President Trump has called “wiretapping.”

“She needs to be asked, ‘did President Obama ask her to do this?’ I think she ought to testify under oath on this,” Paul opined.

Paul also tried to tie Monday’s revelations about Rice to the slew of leaks on the topic around the time of the handover of the White House. “I think she should be asked under oath, did she reveal it to the Washington Post?” he asked.

Where have you been for the last 18 months?

There has been a revolution.

Trump and Sessions will not let this matter slip away.

This is how you drain the swamp.

What privilege would that be?

Unless she was acting on orders from the President, there would be no privilege.

The Trump/Russia connection was a ruse. A pretext for gathering information on Trump to help defeat him in the general. Have to walk this back to the original surveillance authorization then move forward. Big picture folks. Big picture.

I think we knew it was a ruse as soon as it started. It just did not make sense. We were saying here on FR that the Dems/Obama administration/MSM thought they could get away with crimes and illegalities because they assumed Hillary would win, months ago.

I don't care about vengence, I want justice and all laid bare.
Enough of the fun and games at the expense of the average American.
Because the alternative is something I'm not fond of.

Oh come on........give me one liberal/democrat who worked in or for the Obama administration, who was caught red-handed and called to testify “under oath” to Congress, who was prosecuted?

I do not believe Sessions is going anywhere. He knows a great because he was a Senator who kept his ear to the ground and his mouth shut. Biding his time.

No one expected Trump to be President or Mr. Sessions to be AG, NO ONE. There is going to be a massive swamp draining in the next month or so, IMHO. Wish I was teaching PoliSci right now. 80 posted on ‎3‎/‎5‎/‎2017‎ ‎5‎:‎22‎:‎18‎ ‎PM by madison10 [ Post Reply | Private Reply | To 72 | View Replies | Report Abuse]

Nothing will come of this. Nothing. Our congress is far too incompetent and enmeshed in the corruption to follow through. All they’ll do is meet and bloviate on CNN. It’s all they ever do.

Did she lie to Congress before, about Benghazi? If she did, were there any consequences for her lying to Congress? If not, why should she care? Even though Reps have majority, the Globals on both sides usually vote together, leaving the Patriots in the minority. Just wondering.

Also wondering if they even need Rice to sing re: Obama. Wouldn’t the NSA have recordings of Obama-Rice conversations?

I should have said this.

"Inadvertently" is another word for the intel term "incidentally."

Which means that Trump and his team were "reversed targeted" by spooks who used foreigners as primary targets so they could backdoor access Trump and his team.

The spook term is "reverse targeting."

Bullshiite. Nunes has already gone out on a limb for this.

Others, like Trey Gowdy, are getting in line.

This is Watergate times 1000.
