Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) told reporters Monday afternoon that former Obama National Security Advisor Susan Rice ought to testify under oath after Bloomberg Newss Eli Lake revealed that, during the presidential transition, she deliberately sought to unmask President Donald Trumps associates from intelligence surveillance.
Paul called the reports that Rice made dozens of requests to learn more about the identities of anonymous people thought to be close to the Trump transition team, inadvertently caught on tape during investigations into foreign persons of intelligence interest, enormous news.
If it is allowed, we shouldnt be allowing it. I dont think we should discount how big a deal it is that Susan rice was looking at these, Paul told the assembled reporters.
The Kentucky Senator then cut to the heart of the growing political fight behind what President Trump has called wiretapping.
She needs to be asked, did President Obama ask her to do this? I think she ought to testify under oath on this, Paul opined.
Paul also tried to tie Mondays revelations about Rice to the slew of leaks on the topic around the time of the handover of the White House. I think she should be asked under oath, did she reveal it to the Washington Post? he asked.

Questions still to be answered (or even asked):
Exactly when did the surveillance start?
How many of the other Republican candidate’s conversations where listened to?
Was the information passed on to the Clinton campaign?
Who knew we had knuckle draggers that operate a keyboard who ran this forum. So byte me

HANNITY: And welcome back to Hannity. So as we told you in the last two segments, according to Sara Carter and John Solomons reporting, Susan Rice, John Brennan and Loretta Lynch were cleared to, quote, request and consume unmasked intelligence reports. So will the mainstream media cover that bombshell?”
Many thanks for this info!
Susan Rice
John Brennan
Loretta Lynch
One out of the three have been outed; hope the/any others get outed also...

This is what it looks like when a congressman isnt running scared. Now lets see how many join him in calling for this.
That is not a question that she could answer by pleading the 5th amendment.
The follow up question after answering “Yes, he did” would be “Did you do it.” That she could plead the 5th but doing so would be be tantamount to an admission of guilt.
She won’t testify on advice of counsel before congress. This thing will drag out and prepare to be exasperated as the MSM continues to claim it was not illegal and “Russia”, “Russia”, and “Russia” continues.
This was eavesdropping using the might and security apparatus of the U.S. government for political purposes. We all know it was, but the longer it drags out the more the MSM spin will just turn it into another piece of taffy.
It depends on what the words susan rice mean?
I have a feeling she may well have an accident—or get so depressed she takes her own life—Like Vince Foster. Dead women don’t sing!
She also should be asked for each instance: did you request information on Joe Blow? Did you request information on Jim Blow? Since there are dozens, at least, of these requests it will put her on display and drag out the lies.
This is the most serious threat from government in my lifetime and the most serious challenge to the nation since JFK was whacked.
It had better not be covered up as that instance was.
This is more dangerous to our nation than 911 which was only destruction of a building and the murder of thousands of Americans. This spying is a attack on the fundamental elements of our society and the political structure supporting it.
Rand Paul is pushing this to the top, where it needs to go. From what I’ve seen, most congressmen have been irrationally afraid of holding Obama accountable.
Maybe they will now follow Senator Paul’s lead.
Buy first thought McGruff! The Golf Course is the only space they can be “private”
Just like on the Vineyard at Farm Neck where he ripped Barky a new one a few summers ago.
How’s Tahiti Barky?
This will obviously “show” a lot about the criminality. Expect great results from this unveiling of this fascism.
I put the odds of her claiming 5th Amendment rights above 90% - IF the hearing is a serious one.
Nah. NOTHING will happen. Repeat: NOTHING will happen.Nothing will happen to Susan Rice because she kept her mouth shut.
The one that will take the fall is Farkas because she outed Obama and a whole bunch of other people with her big mouth.
Farkas needs a body guard, not a lawyer.
That is probably the season the new sexual harassment reports are resurfacing to discredit BOR.
More crap from the “Are We There Yet” crowd. It has started with Paul after only being revealed last week. Do you rush blindly into things?
A high official in his Dept of Defense was indicted and arrested last week. It was posted here. That is just a rivulet before the dam bursts.
Total crap. The intelligence agencies are blowing the whistle on the criminality of the former regime. It is going to be too big for the RATmedia to ignore much longer.
McCain and Graham must be deeply saddened by this latest turn of events. Not exactly going the way they planned it.
I was talking about Bill Clinton.. but autocorrect deleted my personage! Sorry!
You are correct. Even for the cynical who believes Congressmen are self-seeking opportunists this should be seen a huge opportunity for an ambitious person to make a national name for him/herself.
Ambition can be used in a good cause to great effect. Lots of Facetime potential here and now the GOP has been taught how to fight back against the RATmedia.
