Fox News has been known to separate its programming into opinion and news, but some parts of its news wing have fallen prey to the beasts of fake news. One in particular is Fox News' Shepard Smith Reporting, which has been dominated by the unsubstantiated claims surrounding Russia's meddling in the US election and the non-existent Trump-Russia connections. Almost daily, Shepard Smith wades into rants and allegations about Trump's connections to Russia while ignoring the larger, real and substantiated connections between Russia and the Clintons. For this, petitions and calls to have Smith fired have been growing.
Shepard Smith is also a managing editor at Fox News, in charge of breaking news. This has started the alarm bells among the Fox News audience, causing explosions on Twitter that call for Smith's immediate resignation. A petition at Change.org is nearing 3,000 and will likely surpass that by the time this is published.

Can Geico save you 15% or more on car insurance?
Get him OUTTA HERE ASAP?
YES!
Who needs news hosts any more? Switch to Fox on the web, and YOU can choose who you want in front of your face.
I’m surprised this jackass wasn’t fired after his Hurricane Katrina dramatics. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a worse example of amateurish, incompetent reporting.
Yes, fire him immediately.... I switch to Fox Business when he comes on. Sometimes I switch to CNN... thinking, maybe the demographics will hurt him more CNN up, Fox down, when he comes on.
Fox is as mercenary as they come. If Shep maintains his ratings, he could sing show tunes and scream “I hate Trump” for his entire segment and they wouldn’t fire him. If his ratings tank, he could read gushing love letters to Trump for his entire segment and he’d still be fired. That’s the reality of the news business.
Long ago
Yesterday.
YEEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Send him fudge packing
Yeah, that is probably why he jumped out of the closet; can claim discrimination due to his homosexuality.
Maybe Roger Ailes is bi-sexual and likes Shemp.
I was watching the other day and there was a story about a bear. At the end of the story he looked to the sky and said something about “there are bears here.”
Of course a bear is a term for a large hairy gay man.
I puked a little into my mouth.
Fox can hire and fire who they want.
I still won’t watch them.
Couldn’t possibly care less. Haven’t watched a minute of that network since election night, then immediately switched back to FBN for much superior/balanced coverage by Cavuto/Dobbs/Varney.
Have no intention of ever watching that network again. Like democrats and republicans, there is little difference between FNC and CNN/MSNBC/ABC/NBC/CBS. It’s an echo chamber with little substance, truth, or in-depth analysis. So many better sources of real news these days if you decide shut off the nightly gong show and go look for them.
Yes, yes and yes.
There are some people on Fox that just make me want to vomit. Shep is at the top if that list!
They should have fired him 10 years ago, but a petition with 3,000 signatures doesn’t mean squat. He’s probably beloved by the liberal Murdoch boys. Only if viewership plummets would they even consider letting him go.
He is a ditzy libtard for sure, and insufferably smug, arrogant, complacent. I’ve had a personal Shrimp Smith boycott for the past 10 years or so. If only a million or two other viewers would join me, Shep would be gone. I saw how horribly biased he was with Katrina coverage and then Israel/Hezbollah coverage. Have never seen more than a few minutes of him since, and I always turn him off if I accidentally find myself watching.
