Although not specifically outlined in his healthcare proposal, President-Elect Trump has stated during his campaign that he does not believe health insurance carriers should be able to refuse coverage to individuals due to pre-existing conditions. This ban on disqualifying a consumer from a health insurance plan due to a medical condition is one of the core components of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), which went into effect in 2013. This specific policy is universally the most popular part of the Affordable Care Act with Americans who are both in favor of and against the ACA

> “When we win on November 8th and elect a Republican Congress, we will be able to immediately repeal and replace Obamacare. I will ask Congress to convene a special session.”

Let me know when we have a Republican congress. Right now because the Senate refuses to remove the filibuster we have the house but not the senate.

There is a one line bill currently being proposed which basically just says “Repeal it”.

I would also suggest a very short bill which says, in effect, “All federal employees, other than active duty military, must sign up for state-run Obamacare plans. This includes all senators and congressmen.”

Let Congress decide:

Repeal it for everyone?
Stick the voters with it but continue to make themselves immune from it?
Eat their own cooking and suffer along just like the rest of us?

It’s a time for choosing.

Uh, I will give him more than 60 days to make good on his promises. The Media is fomenting unreasonable expectations......but that’s what they do to every Republican/Conservative. Give him time.

Seriously? Do you expect him to rule by EO like Zero or execute his duties and fix the problems within the Law?

Regarding vets.. read the management amendment of rinocare.. they signed it in the dark to deny veterans the same choices non citizens would get under the same bill. Marching needy vets to the VA gulag, not just no. thank God for Rep Meadows for revealing this legislation.

Typical hysterical stuff.

It’s been 8 weeks. Trump let Ryan try it his way and failed. HFC didn’t even try to get involved-—remember they voted for Ryan, they DIDN’T run any opposing candidate, and just yesterday they reaffirmed that they weren’t calling for Ryan to step down (really “principled,” huh?).

Let’s see where we are in 3 more months. Meanwhile, illegals being deported in record number (gee, that’s no lying bully), jobs coming into this country like crazy (gee, that’s no lying bully), and we have canceled several bad trade deals (gee, that’s no lying bully). Might want to re-think the big picture here.

The same place FREEDOMCAUCUSCARE is. POTUS supported a health care bill last week. If you chose to join the Democrats in opposing it so be it. They thank you for your support.

You are just beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Trump is taking to task, the MSM, proving what he said is correct, ferreting out the moles in his administration from the Obama admin that is undermining what he is trying to do. People are coming out in large numbers about the spying on he and his administration. The people voting against the health care bill have been identified, and now know that the jig is up.
I do not think that his performance at this point is anything short of amazing. He has done more while in office than many of his predecessors. Draining the swamp will not occur quickly. You have to separate the wheat from the chaff, and keeping quality, dependable people, and getting rid of infiltrators is not a quick process. Assigning judges to fill vacancies is important, and trusting his people to select quality judges is part of delegating. Allowing Jeff Sessions to start prosecuting Judges, and start the arrest process for those who violate constitutional law, and advocate and approve Sanctuary Cities, is a priority, to make cities, states, and the country adhere to the rule of law. Remember, Trump said we will follow the laws on the books. We will be a nation of laws.
While the MSM spins its wheels speculating about what Trump is doing or will do, has become much harder as the moles have been found out. Not so many leaks now, eh?

He is early in, and IMO is doing a great job. Once the Ball starts rolling, the changes will come hard and fast. The health care bill will happen, Obamacare will collapse on its own weight, and the democrats complaint that 20 million will lose health coverage will be on them for their inaction. The bill will improve during that time and by the time the demorats are ready to play ball, the gang of 8 have had their say, and everybody has had time to read the bill, it will happen. In the mean time, Keystone happened, the coal industry deregulation happened, oil prices are down, gas prices continue to drop, Tax relief for small businesses has started getting the attention it needs, and top quality professionals continue to be brought into the administration.

While I understand your Angst, I think that we are still in the 1st quarter, and we still have the rest of the game ahead of us. Hang in there, the best is yet to come, and every day the media has less and less to talk about, until they will hang on his every tweet to have something to mock him about. Meanwhile the military for the first time had relief from its rules of engagement actually allowing them to fight back, now they have enough bullets, and equipment. The VA has had a big boost in funding, new equipment is being built and our military stores are getting refilled.

Tons is happening, if you just look in different directions.

But, that is just my observation, and my point of view.

Your disingenuous, snarky posting suggest that you are: a Never Turmper, have little concept of the time and effort required to implement change in a hostile system and probably occupied an 06 billet with the wits and skills of an 01. May I suggest that you stifle your self.

WHY ARE YOU NOW ATTACKING THE CONSERVATIVES WHO HAVE BEEN YOUR MOST LOYAL SUPPORTERS?

LOL. You mean Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Jason Chaffetz, Evan McMullin, Mark Levin, etc. Take a look at the names of alleged conservatives who contributed to an entire issue of National Review dedicated to defeating Trump:

The day after 0bembacare was passed I posted that we will be stuck with government interference in the medical industry forever.

Why? Because freebies have never, and I repeat, NEVER been repealed. 0bembacare is “freebies for the usual slackers and do-nothings,” period.

Cry all you want but the truth is the truth. We are stuck with the government interference into almost our entire lives.

Where is the Freedom Caucus health care plan?

And, no, Trump repeatedly said he wanted to keep coverage for pre-existing conditions and allow children to stay on their parent's health care until 26 and that he still believed in universal health care. You weren't paying attention if you didn't hear all that.

It and the homosexual issue were the issues Trump was never a hardcore conservative on. In January, Trump repeated his pledge to provide health care for everyone.

Stop being a snowflake and pretending Trump promised you a Rose Garden on the issue.
