Throughout the campaign you said that:
1. You were not a politician, you were a businessman skilled in negotiating.
2. Despite the claims of your critics you said that you were not a liar, that you would make good on all your promises.
3. You promised the country that you would repeal and replace Obamacare and repeatedly made the following statements to that effect:
a. “We will immediately repeal and replace ObamaCare - and nobody can do that like me. We will save $'s and have much better healthcare!”
b. “I’m going to work immediately to knock out Obamacare, and we are going to start taking care of our vets and the military.”
c. “On my first day I’m going to ask Congress to immediately send me a bill to repeal and replace Obamacare.”
d. “When we win on November 8th and elect a Republican Congress, we will be able to immediately repeal and replace Obamacare. I will ask Congress to convene a special session.”

The GOP has all 3 branches. It’s delusional to think they don’t “own” health care. The Dems will be screaming “fix it” 24/7 and it is around their neck regardless.

Everything is connected in the beltway. This isn’t a buffet were we can pick and choose when to support this POTUS because he is under nuclear attack. Trump is in his 1st 100 days an attempting to install his agenda while under heavy assault. I guess it arises out of a need for instant gratification and a failure to understand that "radical" measures are never going to pass Congress if there's a President who will actually sign them.
Governing is based on consensus, as far as the legislature is concerned, and only with consensus will there be any bills passed out of Congress. I have no doubt that eventually, a healthcare bill will be passed, once everyone gets past their hysterics.
The "fair weather friends" of the President have certainly been coming out of the woodwork. Looking back over the last year or two, at what this man was able to accomplish, against all odds, I'm still going to defer to his judgement and intuition, not knee-jerk armchair quarterbacks who have been eagerly awaiting an opportunity to jump ship and join the "loyal opposition"...
The day after 0bembacare was passed I posted that we will be stuck with government interference in the medical industry forever.

And, no, Trump repeatedly said he wanted to keep coverage for pre-existing conditions and allow children to stay on their parent's health care until 26 and that he still believed in universal health care. You weren't paying attention if you didn't hear all that.
It and the homosexual issue were the issues Trump was never a hardcore conservative on. In January, Trump repeated his pledge to provide health care for everyone.
Stop being a snowflake and pretending Trump promised you a Rose Garden on the issue.
Read the amendment, unless your afraid to admit the truth.
I sincerely hope that the GOP controlled DC government do _repeal_ the existing illegal _law_ and anything done for health care is done in accordance with the supreme law of USA, the US Constitution.
There are many conservatives on FR who are very asleep, very unconcerned about follow lawful, law.
As our founding fathers said, law which contradicts USConstitution are null and void. Republicans who cannot get this are enemies of USA and our _right_ to Constitutional government.
