Are we certain Rush wants so much posted here rather a small portion posted and a link to his site?

The Freedom Caucus is doing the same thing that the Tea Party did, so I’m on their side.

If Rush is ‘out of touch’, he’s not alone:

Interesting Hannity show Dobbs and Ingraham on this subject

They say Trump being stabbed in the back by Ryan and Freedom Caucus saved Trump stopping this Ryancare.

Well unlike the one-issue club of whiners, I can clearly see him doing a bunch of other things the GOPe would never have attempted.

But this little club of apparently dopes that swear to Christ that he is some anti-conservative, seem to miss all of those things, because so many on the right live to be some sort of aggrieved victim of in-group position differences.

Either Trump needs to kiss the ass of the absolutist right on 100% of the issues, or they will cry and “stay home”.

Sounds like such a sensible plan.////////s

Rush is out of touch period. Really has nothing to do with this particular event.

Good points by Rush. Many of us have been saying something slightly different, and that is that Trump is moderate to liberal on health care. He has been open about it. So, I see him actually believing in and promoting the RyanCare bill. Personally, I don’t think he would have done that without input. I don’t see Trump as a sight-unseen kind of guy.

It was also his bill.

And he truly believed he could bring costs down in phases 2 and 3.

So, that’s where Rush’s point that Trump sees those not supporting this bill as the opposition. Rush is right. There are those working with him and those working against him.

The freedom caucus sticks in his craw because they could have put him over the top but they refused. That makes them the first line opposition.

So, in my view Trump will work toward a new entitlement that has both a free market side and an entitlement side.

And he seriously wanted that 100 billion tax savings to make his tax cut plan fly.

I think he’s seriously focused on this and will trample those in his way.

I finally found an answer to that, but so far it’s all vague.

Kabar:

‘There were reports that the FC was granted concessions, but then came back for more over and over again.’

~~~
Kabar, BTW, is a DC lobbyist very concerned about our open borders and had been in contact with then-Senator Sessions during the primary/election.
Freedom Caucus responds.
I stand with the Freedom Caucus. Mr. Trump needs to get right on this. "It's a swamp, not a hot tub." Drainit. Don't climb in.
The Freedom Caucus should get top priority in this off-year election. Trump can help out his RINO ‘buddies’ and doesn’t need us stumping for them.
I’ve lost a lot of respect for Trump and this silly conniption-fit against patriotic allies.
“Status quo ante”. That’s all.
Why can’t we just repeal Obamacare and go back to what we had before it passed? I don’t get why that’s so hard. If there’s stuff to fix with the old system, then we can fix it later. But trying to fix Obamacare while it is the law of the land is like trying to renovate your house while standing on the leaky, hole-filled roof.
Wasn’t Dobbs an early Trump supporter? I guess he’s ‘out of touch’ too.
I guess most in this forum are ‘out of touch’ thinking that Trump would threaten to primary people who blocked his campaign promises.
Instead he made a deal with people who blocked his campaign promises to help him postpone his promises to the ‘sweet by and by’ just like Reagan’s Amnesty Deal.
Well, Reagan fell for it too, but Reagan didn’t run around threatening to primary any conservative opposed to amnesty.
No, Reagan threatened to primary out enemies of our economy.
But being like Reagan is ‘out of touch’.
For the 1 millionth time, we don’t have the 60 votes required in the senate. Pining for something we don’t have gets us no where.
Rush a closet libertarian?
Good grief.
He’s pro-life, pro-safe-borders.
He has a medical condition (as do 30% of Americans, he says anyway) and wants his care to be ensured.
I agree with him.
Did you mean "ensured" or "insured"? Either way, are you suggesting that the only way to provide medical care is through centralized government control of health care? See, conservatives believe that free markets and protection of property rights are the best way to organize markets. Maybe Trumpists have a different view on this.
Trump is like Patton(the movie) in many ways:
Lt. Col. Charles R. Codman: You know General, sometimes the men don't know when you're acting.
Patton: It's not important for them to know. It's only important for me to know.
