A oil or chemical fire, perhaps in a rail car under the I85 bridge in downtown Atlanta between I75 ,400, and I85 caused a section of I85 to collapse 1 hour ago. Traffic is expected to stopped for weeks until the elevated highway section is replaced.
Last time I took MARTA was to the TEA Party rally at the Capitol. Hopefully I can remember how to do it! You wouldn’t think this would effect 400 north of the perimeter, but this is Atlanta...
If they are smart (and I am not saying they are) they will give it to an outside contractor with a bonus for early completion
There is way too much money in conspiracy nonsense for idiotic thing like physics to get in the way. They’ll simply label this as a false flag operation performed by various subverts so that some evildoer can clear out some secret government vault.
One of the issues people didn’t consider .. the super hot fuel (aircrafts were full - had just taken off) .. and since iron will soften at super-heated temperatures; it would be logical for the bridge to bend, and break.
LOL .. only you would think of that ..LOL
Soon to be released video of a rocket being fired at the bridge, or maybe black helicopters landing and a demolition team jumping out and laying charges, or Reptilian aliens firing lasers at the bridge from their flying saucers or maybe George Bush did it?
Yeah and I bet CNN is on Bill Sherman’s where abouts as I write this!
Thanks, Robert A Cook, PE.
Looks to me they were being stored under the bridge - not on train tracks.
.
First skate board style travel pads, then cell phone batteries, now fiber optic tubing. What next, coffee makers?
Assuming you’re coming I75 south you’ll need to
take I285 as though you’re going to Birmingham (via I20).
Be mindful as you approach this exit which is in the
Marietta/Smyrna area. Lotta lane jumpers who wait until
the last minute to navigate to their required lanes.
This will put you on the outer band of I285.
Stay on I285 until you get to the I75 south exit.
No biggie.
I was just thinking of california talking about seceding and then begging for fedgov help from flooding.
This is impossible. The noted structural engineer and metalurgist, Rosie Odonnell, stated it is impossible for fire to melt steel.
Good. Because it was a slap in the face to us here every time some wilder-beast like Rosie O’Donell spouted this garbage.
Yeah, surprisingly, although at times it can really suck, commuting to Rockefeller Plaza from Staten Island usually wasn’t that bad.
The traffic might not move fast in Manhattan, but it does move.
Mayor Mohammed (his actual first name) was very quick to make the required ‘Not terrorism!’ announcement.
I can’t figure it out, road projects of the sort that used to be done in two or three months now take many years.
Speaking of which . . . the British burned DC on August 24, 1814.
Take Roswell Road....
Sure would be nice if it did. However, that video a few years back by that blacksmith/welder showing bar’s integrity failing at less than “needed temperature” should be proof enough.
At the end of the day, people believe what they want despite logic and reason. Hence why we still have followers of J Smith, M Eddy, C Russell, and M Muhammad.
