President Trump signed on Tuesday a much-anticipated executive order intended to roll back most of President Barack Obama’s climate-change legacy, celebrating the move as a way to promote energy independence and to restore thousands of lost coal industry jobs.

Flanked by coal miners at a ceremony at the Environmental Protection Agency, Mr. Trump signed a short document titled the “Energy Independence” executive order, directing the agency to start the legal process of withdrawing and rewriting the Clean Power Plan, the centerpiece of Mr. Obama’s policies to fight global warming.

The order also takes aim at a suite of narrower but significant Obama-era climate and environmental policies, including lifting a short-term ban on new coal mining on public lands.

>>Those are the NeverTrumps

Many of them joined the Trump Train very late in the election, so they start rethinking very easily.

“Hope the coal mines start up in McDowell County in West Virginia start up again.”

I hope that the industry does indeed recover.

A little late for me though, still smarting from James River Coal Company stock that went to zero as a result of 0bama making good on his pledge to bankrupt the coal industry.

The market is still presently overbought and in peril of a sizeable correction to the downside.

Maybe you missed this one..............

But experts note that if the Trump program is enacted, it will all but ensure that the United States cannot meet its global warming commitments under the accord.

The point Delingpole was making is that the most important thing was to eliminate the categorisation of CO2 as pollution - which is the biggest fraud of all. Has that happened? Everything flows from that.

They are only along until they have a chance to crow about how much more conservative they are...

...and how much better off we would be if their guy had been the nominee (even if he didn't win).

CO2 is NOT a pollutant.

CO2 is important food for green plants and trees: they absorb CO2 and release oxygen. It’s called photosynthesis.

Just plant more trees.

Absolutely!

And surrounded by coal miners.

Now he’s got some work to do getting us out of global warming treaties and UN corruption.

How could this be when the Ultras here claim nothing is happening? Of course, this is yet another terrific change of course for the nation but they can’t see it being too busy whining about RINOs, and Ryan.
