Inundated with boos from a raucous town hall crowd, Sen. Lindsey O. Graham (R-S.C.) snapped back, lashing out at one attendee for asking a “garbage” question and slamming many for not accepting the result of the 2016 presidential election.
Toward the end of the hour-long town hall in Columbia, S.C., people were standing up.
“Your last term! Your last term!” they chanted.
The senator fired back, telling the crowd that he does not and will not worry about losing his job in the 2020 election.
“Good! Good! Come on, bring it on! Bring it on!” Graham said. “If I win, fine. If I don’t, fine. But here’s what you’re going to get from me. You’re going to get somebody that tells you exactly what I believe. And to everybody in this room, it’s okay to be mad. It’s okay to be upset.”
Republicans who have hosted town halls have endured “protests, sharp rebukes and emotional questions about what they see as a sharp turn in governance as well as the House and Senate’s willingness to check the White House,” The Washington Post’s Dan Zak and Terence Samuel wrote last month.
Some GOP lawmakers have opted against holding town halls. President Trump has dismissed the “so-called angry crowds” as “liberal activists.”

It’s not just liberal activists that hate him.
It’s about time someone stood up against the rent-a-mob. He wasn’t being “cocky, he was dressing down the know-nothing rabble who came to create chaos. He did a fine job defending Ivanka Trump and several of Trump’s cabinet picks.
In this case he isn’t “garbage” nor a “POS”. Save those epithets for the radical instigators in the audience.

For all of Sen. Graham’s many, many, many, many flaws, I suspect that these particular protestors were leftist agitators, possibly bought and paid for by Soros and/or his ilk. Garbage of a much smellier variety than the establishment hack they protested.
Columbia, the state capital, and the surrounding area is the only significant part of the state that went for Hillary.
This is likely a case of the enemy of my enemy is definitely not my friend.
Graham is just another humble servant of the people.

Got to be circumspect about this eruption against Graham as reported by our favorite newspaper, The Washington Post.
“’Your last term! Your last term!’ they chanted.” Unless some freeper eyewitness can report otherwise the “they” is the people we despise here on FR. And “they” mean “Graham, you’re going to lose to the Democrat challenger.” When I chant “Your last term (in my head), I am hoping for a credible well funded ass-kicking against him in the primary.
