“You cannot have major changes in major programs affecting things like health care without including Democrats from the very beginning and asking them to be constructive,” Ohio Gov. John Kasich, a former Republican presidential contender, told CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday.

“So, they have got to reach out across the aisle. And Democrats have to say, we will work with you to improve and fix this plan for people.”

Kasich said it would be “pathetic” if Democrats put partisanship above the good of the country. […]

Kasich said the “extremes” in both parties should be “marginalized” so “reasonable” Republicans and Democrats can get something done. …

Remind me: how many republicans voted for Obamacare?

The only way to deal with the left is to kick them in the teeth. Do unto them before they do unto us (again). Hopefully, one day we’ll all figure that out.

As if the liberal cross the aisle to work with republicans when in power. Good grief!

Sad thing? Republicans will fall for this, hook, line and sinker.

Just because he reaches across the aisle and everything else with his crooked back doesn’t mean we want one like him lol.

What and get their hands cut off? The Democrats have absolutely NO interest in working with Republicans. They have only one goal; to get rid of President Trump, by any political means possible, be it, making it difficult for him to get legislation passed, by bringing up false charges of treason (their latest ploy) or whatever.

So, NO Republicans should do their thing, and target only those Dems who represent states that Trump carried, to see if they are interested. Otherwise, they can just work harder together to get Republicans to work together to get legislation passed.

Of course, that means the RINOS will have to get off their high horses and work with conservatives, if they don't want to squander this opportunity.

“You cannot have major changes in major programs affecting things like health care without including Democrats..."

Of course one can. Just look at how the Dems excluded Repubs from Obamacare legislation.

Dems created this travesty. They must not be allowed to interfere with repealing it.

Odd that Kasick uses the word “pathetic.”

His picture is in the definition of pathetic in the Dictionary.
