Environmental activists vowed over the weekend to fight the Keystone XL oil pipeline to the bitter end, insisting the Trump administrations approval of the long-delayed project will not be the final word.
Powerful green groups are launching a two-pronged strategy to block the pipeline in the streets and in the courts. First, they intend to use a state review process in Nebraska where Keystone still does not have a legal route, despite federal approval of the project to delay any movement forward.
Nebraska state officials charged with approving the pipelines path say a decision shouldnt be expected until September at the earliest, and environmentalists could drag that process out even longer.
The second piece of their plan centers on the kind of guerrilla warfare tactics seen throughout last year during the fight over the Dakota Access pipeline.
Activists say theyll organize protests and even set up camps along Keystones proposed route, potentially blocking construction of the project if and when its set to begin.

Nor are they embarrassed about the 12 dogs found abandoned.
Nah. 10 trained Hawks should do it.
This is so cute. They still think Obama is president. :-P
You made me scream in the office! Funny
Excellent Freeper!!!!
Beautiful~!
I believe they are funded by OPEC. Certainly the money is laundered so the connection isn't easy to prove, but their money comes from OPEC and Soros, enemies of American strength and American independence.
I’d rather turn them all over to the Comanches to do what they did so well in the 1840s t0 18880s.
That would make them terrorists, and under the Obama Doctrine, valid targets for drone strikes. . . . (evil grin)
If the Green movement is going to start blowing things up, they just need to remember that it could end up working both ways. I think there are a lot of conservatives who would come after them.
There was already an attempted sabotage attempt on pipeline equipment in South Dakota. South Dakota is not only a red state, but a strong supporter of Second Amendment rights. Protesters should think twice before entering on private lands to do their sabotage.
