Trump doing his part. Congress is another thing.
This is welcome good news.
I prefer the term “clear thinker” to “skeptic”, not that I’m any less biased than the MSM.
Amd some leftist judge readies to overrule.
Trump needs to get rid of the ethanol mandate!
And while he is at it...a gas can that works would be nice!
See if the liberals take this exec order to court. Since they have a track record so far in the Trump admin. of doing so.
I don’t see how there’s any basis for going to court, but then again, I saw no legal basis for the liberals to go to court over the travel bans either.
You gotta appreciate the president’s tenacity. He took his licks over the weekend on healthcare, but he comes out on Monday and is fulfilling another campaign promise of getting our energy production back on track.
Good news!
May I PLEASE have my old light bulbs back???
There’s probably a whole string of 0bama/Clinton appointed federal judges just waiting to slam down anything Trump does in an EO.
I have 2 things to say about this topic:
1) EXCELLENT! This is the kind of thing that we elected Trump to do.
2) I hope that while thinking about the electrical grid, Trump & Co. think (and later act) very clearly about its vulnerability to EMP and hacking attacks, as well as huge solar flares like the 1859 Carrington Event. These things are what is known as LPHI events (low probability, high impact). The odds are very slim (well, maybe not so much re: human attacks - they would be the ultimate in assymetrical warfare), but the effects could be literally civilization-destroying. A couple billion per year for 10 years or so, mandated by the feds for spare transformers, etc., and passed on to consumers (maybe $1 - $2 per utility bill per month - and have a definite expiration date, unlike the telephone tax levied to pay for the Spanish-American War) would be well worth it in peace of mind here, and in deterrence against would-be attackers (the Sun could not be reached for comment, but is not expected to give a damn).
This is good news. I’m still feeling bad over the failure to repeal Obamacare. I don’t care whose fault that was. I’m pi$$ed over it. I don’t believe Obamacare is going to implode on its own. It will limp along and ruin job growth and the stock market, satisfied you idiots. We’re going to end up with a single payer system with the equivalent of the government opening up my health plan the Federal Employees Health Benefits Program to everyone and making it no better than a crap welfare plan, ruining it. Some people refuse to compromise and think they’re more important than the President, blah blah such blowhards. Wake me up when they get their act together.
Oh they’ll eff it up somehow. Its the only thing they know how to do.
The problem is businesses may keep some of them in place to avoid having to change back when a Democrat wins the White House. Unfortunately, the more restrictive executive orders tend to be followed despite repeal.
