A Senate panel will question Jared Kushner, President Trumps son-in-law and a top adviser, about a meeting he arranged with a Russian ambassador, according to a report on Monday.
The Senate Intelligence Committee, which has been looking into Russian meddling in the 2016 presidential election, wants to talk to Kushner about meetings with Kremlin envoy Sergey Kislyak, the New York Times reported, citing administration and congressional officials.
The White House has confirmed that Kushner met Kislyak in early December at the Trump Tower, but the report said Kislyak requested another meeting that month.
Kushner asked a deputy to attend that meeting.
But later Kushner met with Sergey Gorkov, the head of Vnesheconombank, which the Obama administration hit with sanctions after Russian President Vladimir Putin annexed Crimea, the report said.

And this morning the White House announced that Kushner has been put in charge of slicing and dicing personnel and programs at the federal agencies....
More obstruction from Congress!!
RUSSIARUSSIARUSSIA
What relevance does a meeting AFTER the election - by a member of the transition team - have to do with Russian influence on the election. Now, Russia says they had contact with the Hillary campaign prior to the election. I wish some Repub Senator would grow some balls and haul them before the committee.
When will Congress start to investigate the Pakistan infiltration of the Congress? Hmmm..... maybe the Congress is not very good at investigating itself.
Biggest Russkie connection——caviar.
So, the Russians connived with Kushner to effect the November 2016 elections, in December 2016!!!!!!
VERY CRAFTY, THOSE RUSSIANS!!!!
I hope Trump sends the committee chairman a post-it note that says, “Kushner is kind of busy right now and doesn’t have time for your show boating.” And refuses to allow him to attend based on executive privilege. I think Obama set many precedents for this.
Right. LOL.
What about the Podesta Wikileaks of the Hellary campaign’s chili party for the Chinese ambassador?
Is Jaime Gorelick advising him, too, on Ethics?
Except it’s not kosher.
Don’t they just need to pass a magic wand over it or something to kosherize it? Just kidding.
There are ersatz kosher caviars, but the good Russian product is made from the roe of sturgeon, which have scales.
Kushner reportedly ate borscht when he was six years old,
hence the RUSSIAN CONNECTION.
Thank you why is she any where near the administration? Wasnt enabling 9/11 enough to make people aware she terrible
Ridiculous!! Although, if the charade ends up taking place and is shown on C-SPAN, it could be used as an opportunity for Kushner to set everyone straight and expose the ‘rats.
Hello! Guess you never heard of the “wayback machine”? Geez.
Major bummer on Trump that he has family in the WH and they have Jamie gorelick on their payroll
as an ethics advisor
The blood of 3000 Americans would differ
Changed my entire respect for Trump
No longer an adorable deplorable
Trump needs to unleash Jeff Sessions on the GOPe Senate. He knows his former colleagues and where the skeletons are. GO AFTER THEM tooth and nail. Financial investigations, audits, probes, warrants and even indictments. Trump needs to bring down the corrupt in his OWN party. He will be a true popular hero if he does.
Show me where Gorelick is on the payroll, she was consulted once about ethics regulations arising in having Kushner join the Trump administration as an unpaid advisor.
