House Freedom Caucus chairman Rep. Mark Meadows on Sunday shrugged off taunts from President Trump, saying that health care reform was still alive and that congressional Republicans would aim to pass legislation for Trump to sign. Friday's failure on healthcare legislation, the North Carolina Republican said, does not mean that the effort to replace Obamacare is dead. "To put a stake in it today would not be accurate," the North Carolina Repubican said on ABC's This Week, explaining that the intra-party conversations in the past two days have been about regrouping on healthcare. He said that it will be the responsibility of

You better be right and not just pissing on us!
Because all of my recent comments to the contrary, I want to believe in BOTH youse guys and Trump that you’ll do the right thing.
Draining the swamp isn’t gonna be easy, we can tell.
Don’t panic! Although it violates the “not one inch to the democrats”, it is an excellent strategic move. It scares the crap out of the democrats (due to the 2017 impacts) and forces them into their single payer alternative. Trump and the Republican Congress will circle back around to a much better bill.
Why do you think Trump has threatened the Freedom Caucus that he will work with the democrats instead.
Thank you for your posts.
U can look at my past post. I have never said anything bad about the
HFC. Others have but I have not.
I supported RyanCare not because it was a great bill, but it was 20%
better than Obamacare with the possibility of Phase 2 and Phase 3
fixing the VA issue and other issues.
U can debate this all u want.
Trump has said he is moving on and so am I.
RyanCare was defeated. Time to move on.
They want back at the table.
Reminds me of the P.J. O’Rourke quote.
“Republicans say that ‘Government Doesn’t Work.’, then they get elected and prove it.”
HHS can grant exemptions to the ACA at any time and for whatever reason they like. They should simply issue a universal exemption.
Nice. Like a Hillary supporter, you can’t form a cogent argument, so you call the people you don’t agree with names. You should try blocking traffic and burning private businesses as well, it works for the other liberals.
There were as many liberals bailing from AHCA as conservatives.
Conservatives do not want to tinker with Obamacare endlessly, they want it repealed.
If Trump is looking for moderate Democrats, he’ll find them next to dodo in the extinct species list.
My Congressman is a RINO and he was going to vote against the bill. So did a number of others. Your statement that conservatives caused the demise of the Ryan bill is factually incorrect. The bill was pulled because the GOP leadership didn’t want anyone to see how badly it would have been defeated.
It was a failure of Rino Ryan and the GOPe leadership. It was a very bad bill that Mr. Trump should have rejected as “not repeal”. http://thefederalist.com/2017/03/24/failure-of-health-care-bill-is-indictment-of-gop-leadership/
Trump can multi-task. There is time to work on this.
Trump is moving on to other important issues.
He probably should not have led off with this
complicated issue,
Onward to other issues that can unite the GOP.
This issue is DOA for the foreseeable future.
Are you calling Trump a RINO? He is opposed to full repeal, supported this bill, and has been vocal about keeping several expensive elements of Obamacare, like no exclusion of preexisting conditions.
The table has been pack up.
Onward to other important issues.
He has said he wants it repealed many times.
