It's now open season on the Trump agenda. It won't be surprising at all if the Gorsuch nomination goes down in flames.

When has it not been open season on Trump?

Calm down. Judge Gorsuch is already looking at staff and clerks for the upcoming session. The next vacancy is the one they’ll fight over since it will tilt the court.

Well, the filibuster didn’t keep Hack, no judicial experience, Kagan off the Court...

Every single US Senator has a share of the most powerful parliamentary role on the planet - because of the filibuster.

When Hubert Humphrey tried to nuke the filibuster in 1967, with a 68-32 Democrat majority, the ruling of the chair was appealed to the floor - and he only got 46 votes.

The GOP, with 52 votes, will never pass a nuke the filibuster motion.

wouldn’t that then be 50 votes with the VP tie-breaker ?

My guess is Mitch McConnell will change the cloture rule to require 70 votes to ensure that they can't do anything ever.

This is the person the GOP keeps selecting as their "leader" in the Senate.

Just look at this pitiful jackass.

That swamp is very densely populated. I think it’s deeper and dirtier than anyone has imagined. Is the swamp dweller/leader still in Tahiti? Any word on who is with him or what he’s doing there? Any visit from his “family”?

Gorsuch will be sat. I am not even remotely concerned.

There are whispers Clarence Thomas will retire this summer. Won’t be a big uprising over that as we will be replacing conservative with conservative.

When Ginsburg croaks within the next 8 years (and she will) that’s going to be Armageddon.

IF McConnell calls for the nuclear option, he may have 51 votes, but I am skeptical. The GOP is that dysfunctional.

The debacle over healthcare should be a hard bright warning signal that this party may be over before it starts.

2018 is coming. If there is a reasonable number of rinos replaced with new blood, I think you will see a lot of coming to Jesus moments in DC. Of course if there isn’t, not much permanent good Trump can do.

Gorsuch is dead in the water. I was thinking that a deal would be reached to allow his nomination to pass in return for a pledge from 3-4 RINO Senators ( we know who they are)to keep the current 60 vote rule on the next nominee. But the Democrats don’t need to make any deal because those 3 or 4 RINOs like McCain who will sell out for peanuts.

Maybe somebody can explain the “nuclear option” to me. What do they mean when they say that it can only be used once?

I can understand why one could feel that way.
