I've been saying for weeks that the next deal is with Democrats and Republicans alike. When insurance carriers send out their 2018 renewals with massive hikes in their premiums later this year, members of Congress from both parties will be falling all over themselves to come up with something far more comprehensive (and effective) than this sorry pile of nothing that we saw in the AHCA.

One plank of the Trump and Republican agenda was utterly defeated and Obamacare will survive.

Go back and look at the health care proposal Trump ran on during his campaign. The AHCA was a pathetic mockery of his original proposal.

It was a first step in the House and it was defeated by Republicans who were going to vote with Nancy Pelosi against President Trump so Obamacare will not remain and not be repealed or replaced until the Democrats say it will. That will be never if they do better than expected in the 2018 midterms because then they will go for the 2020 elections.

Suffering people are the bread and butter of their free MSM advertisements masquerading as news.
