Obamacare is broken and there will be growing public pressure to get it fixed, not repealed. If the governing party, the GOP, does not get it fixed, they will be blamed for the failure of Obamacare.
Thanks RB, we aren’t tired of winning yet!
You can guess I drive the libs on our Duck sports board crazy.
Mainstream media does NOT exist any more, it is now simply ‘RESISTANCE MEDIA” IMHO.
Disappointed to see Trump just tweet the following....attacking the HFC who saved America from UniPartyCare
Where you disappointed to see the “freedom caucus” stand with Nancy Pelosi in opposition to POTUS?
Newt slammed everyone at the table this morning by calling them the media and establishment in the same breath. Boy are they thin skinned.
Substantively, perhaps. Politically, it would be a disaster for the GOP. The Dems and the MSM, their propaganda wing, will bombard the public daily with sob stories about those who lost coverage and the hardships that resulted.
It's obvious to me that the Republican party truly had no intention of ending or replacing Obamacare. Just another example of campaign conservatism.
The President will have to go directly to the citizens, perhaps through a national address.
Any strategy of just leaving Obamacare alone is a loser for the American people who will have to continue to suffer the consequences.
Your post that “no one ever wins with the Dems” is true, since they actually have a backbone. The Republican party has none, which is why they can be intimidated. That's what this President will have to do.
What Sunday show was Newt on?
He is, I completely agree with his policy positions, except where they created the perception of an embarrassing loss. They could have sent the bill to the Senate and (with help from the administration) kept fighting until they got what they wanted.
He is asking why they didnt submit the bill 15 months ago. Makes far too much sense.
I need to hear that interview again, Walice kept talking over Jordan.
I want to know what the HFC's next move is. (and they'd better have one ready)
The Freedom Caucus was not standing with Nazi Pelosi. This bill was ObamaCare 2.0 and Trump was being a team player.
Freedom Caucus, Cruz, and likely Rand Paul most reliably with us and limited govt.
Bannon and Price and Priebus are the question marks, imho....and closest to the Prez.
The Schummer and Pelosi comments usually do not make sense.
Are they helping their party when they sound like lunatics?
Whoever buys what they are selling must be extremely stupid!
They are contrarians. They are against everything but will always approve gov. freebees regardless of whether they are affordable or run up a larger debt. It is total insanity!
Whoah big boy, let us not get ahead of ourselves here. This is REPUBLICAN/TRUMP care.
Words do have meaning, unless you are part of the propaganda media and lying to us
Absolutely agree! And, I thought that's what was going to happen. But, the Uniparty stepped in to [try] give us Obamicare Lite and the Freedom Caucus, thank God for them, to put a stop to it!
Go back and REPEAL the damn thing and give folks a couple of years to obtain their insurance on the open market.
So the Chris Wallace meme is that Trump ‘never reached across the aisle’ for healthcare issues. What about the meeting with Cummings on the cost of drugs? I guess it never happened.
Not sure what to make of the Donald's statement here. Is he just having a Lying Ted Moment
Or is this the New York values he posses coming through - A.K.A FDR his predecessor from N.Y.
Newt hits the right notes. The others are not as quick witted so Newt always has the advantage. He is a great debater.
Budget Director Mulvaney also speaks sense. He has a future. Former Freedom Caucuser, iirc. Knows both sides in his current position.
What irritated me about Gorsuch was his smugness. Not saying that should be a disqualifier, it’s just annoying.
President Trump does have a path to accomplishing his agenda, the American people.
It’s obvious to me that the Republican party truly had no intention of ending or replacing Obamacare. Just another example of campaign conservatism.

...
Your post is the easiest to springboard off of...thanks and well said.
If you imagine Ryan and McConnell in their rino house and Senate want to lose the house and Senate, then , Ryan’s Bill makes sense.
They are NWO, and want to destroy Trump, which means they want us, the republic, under their NWO.
Since they are the uniparty, being in the minority makes them filthy rich, gets you on talk shows, parties with the elites...and the elites stop blaming you.
We will not stop blaming them but they don’t care and clearly never listen to us.
That’s why the repeal o’care bill is still in committee.
I only hope Trump has seen this, believes this, and is playing his chess match based on these facts...and they are indeed facts. I believe hi does.
